Worth keeping an eye on Forcible in the 4.25
Trained by David Brown for the meeting sponsors, he/they obviously target the race each year as he had the winner in 2012 and a close up 4th last year. Qatar Racing also have Lightening Stride and are also the employers of David Redvers who had the winner last year, and I believe is head of the Clipper Logistics syndicate who have Shackled N Drawn.
Forcible looks quite big at 16s on Betty based on the past efforts of Qatar to win this( it maybe their own Optimal Strategy!)

Today's Bets, all e/w except Grasped:
2.40 Beverley Proclamationofwar 16/1 seemed a big price given probs didnt want soft last time
3.15 Beverley Grasped 7/4 obvious form claims
3.25 Kempton Western King 11/1 likes the ground and appears to go well fresh
4.00 Kempton Wintered Well 12/1 have to forgive a poor run in a much better race and hope trip ok (this one had most reservations about)
4.35 Kempton Pepite Rose 13/2 Can it defy top weight ?, thought it was worth a chance at the price
I thought I'ld put my own picks up in this thread, I've only just started trying to take this more seriously and would be interested if anyone has any feedback.

Pepite Rose is one of my Favs and so pleased to see her run such a massive race against SDG last time.
Obviously in good form still or they wouldn't run her, but my concern is she just doesn't seem as consistent going right handed.
No doubt I will still partake.
Only one horse I been waiting to reappear today. Ixselles Diamond of Fahey 3.40 Wawick. Hoping it will improve for step up. GL

Had a small word for Free Entry in the first at Bevers today.
It's first time on the track, so who knows how it will react, but definitely worth a couple of quid at 8 or 10/1.

8/1 best now, a small investment has been made, thanks Keith.

Think Mulrennan thought he was beat a furlong out and was planning minimal effort.
But it took off for a slap.

Not the best start, 4/4 unplaced and a non-runnner. Oh well, things can only get better from here.
