That puts a different perspective on it Rick, thank you. Very much hope he has put his troubles behind him, will follow with interest.

Was 10s a week ago, but expect Briar Hill to go off a lot shorter than the 15/2 with PP on Saturday in the Long Walk.
Interestingly, some crap covering bets at SP have seen my allowed bet level go up with them. Never seen it before and not for much, but did get whole £5.22 on.
Its gonna be shorter, so someone here might as well get some if they can.

very well done if you found King Rofl form figures 5247-FR
Other bets today:
Call The Detective Southwell 13:45 1pt ew 11/2
Debt To Society Southwell 12:35 1 pt win 5/2
Ravished Navan 15:05 1pt e/w 13/2
I've got a share in King Rolfe.
Been a nightmare recently, he was a point to point winner in Ireland beating Times Remembered who has a decent record.
Long story, but after winning nicely at Stratford last season he fell apart with all sorts of problems and had a breathing operation to correct a soft palate problem which was thought to be causing him to run out of steam three quarters into races.
This season has been horrendous until today. He fell at the first fence two races ago, didn't start last time (just unlucky) and the horse box broke down on way to Bangor for his last proposed run so he was withdrawn.
He's got potential, by kings theatre and wasn't cheap so fingers crossed he's turned a corner.
Had a decent bet on him today so nice to see a return after the problems.
I should add that Tim Vaughan trains him and to put it bluntly I'm not a fan and would move the horse if it were just my choice but fair dos today, he produced for once.
good stuff Rick.

looks terribly dodgy that like, only ones with market up and a ridiculous price for a horse that surely goes off close to fav, and PP suddenly decide to take a bet lol.

Was reading about Paddy, and Mullins horses the other day. Theory was, they have some sort of in to the yard, as they're often best price in some antepost markets, but really dodge them in others.
Not sure I buy that much into it, and most likely just guesswork on what they think they're being targeted at. Would think that only Mullins and Walsh know where they're going, until the last minute.

Dont really do much AP stuff so dont really look into the making of a book but a few things dont sit well there. Having said that I dont really see much of a business in robbing customers who dont even get a run for their money.
Its christmas, odds on a refund?

I don't bet big, so do a fair bit, and was going to lay it off for a freeroll, so probably fair punishment...
As for a refund, I'd say they're bigger than the 15/2 that Briar Hill was

Annoying and apols Marky.
I had heard that Beat That was never going to run, and from there it looked a bit of a dual with Zarkander/Medinas.
He was sure not going to be 15/2.
Anyway. Thems the rubs with the Ante Post market.

No need to apologise mate, you know I love getting on early doors, and I'm a long way from behind backing your AP stuff.
Him or RoR will get me it back in the World Hurdle, anyway!

I don't like Mondays ! What a bloodbath yesterday was ! Very happy I didn't post anything here, everything fell, pulled up or tailed off last. Pretty sure I'ld be well ahead if I never had a bet on a Monday ever again.

Let's hope for better luck today, will have 1pt e/w Secret Millionaire 3.20 Kempton 12-1 Boyles/Sportingbet Thought this was worth a small bet on a well drawn C&D winner who produced a decent speed figure lto, albeit 3 months ago so have to take wellbeing on trust.
