I don't like Mondays !  What a bloodbath yesterday was ! Very happy I didn't post anything here, everything fell, pulled up or tailed off last.  Pretty sure I'ld be well ahead if I never had a bet on a Monday ever again.

Value At Risk looks a very interesting runner at Newbury

Joined Dan Skelton from the pharmicist after 5 very promising bumper runs, culminating in a close up 3rd at Punchestown to Shaneshill and Silver Concorde.

No idea if it's fit or can jump a hurdle, but if it can, 5/4 is an absolute gift.

Laying 4/1 Jack Frost might be even better. If that can give 7lbs to VAR and beat it, might as well give up looking at the form book.

Punchestown, Fairyhouse and Cheltenham form v Fakenham and Ludlow form. Hmmmm.

A bit late, and the price has gone... , but Neck or Nothing has had a breathing op over the summer(pretty sure this info not in public domain). First time out could be the time to catch him, but he is very well thought of. I hope it worked!

First race at Ludlow

Looks like another bundle of cash down the drain!

Was certainly a race full of headcases.

If that winner learns how to start, he could be useful.

Apols if you followed me in!

Speaking of headcases was looking forward to seeing oyster shell to get a line on just how good Vivaccio is for the weekend, did a black beauty impression at the start.

Looked to me like the guy at the start with the bullwhip was actually hitting the Oyster. Not good scenes.

I think its in the interests of racing not to have that guy there. If a horse needs to be threatened to run then it doesnt want too. Stuff like that and overly aggressive attempts to get horses into the stalls sheds the game in a bad light and shows HR as the opposite to what it is, horses enjoy running, they are naturally competitive. Many are amazingly gutsy and intelligent. My favourite thing about HR is watching an animal give absolutely everything, the ones that dont want to race should be banned faster.

Any thoughts on this next race at Linfield.  Is there a chance to play a dirty e/w here with there being an odds on fav and 8 runners?

I thought there was quite a lot to like about Moovoy.

The seemingly generous 2.6 on betty has tempted me on board.

I'll give it another opportunity as well, wouldn't mind seeing it in blinkers.
