RTR looked good again there, and it's a shame Padraig would only lay me £7.50 at 33s...

I am hoping that we see the next Gold Cup winner today up at Carlisle
, but I must confess I was very very taken by Road to Riches performance at Down Royal.
Ok, it was early season fare, but he ran them stupid at the end, and the further he goes the better he looks, with his jumping getting better than ever at the end.
He also lost a few lengths at many fences when jumping left. Not a problem at Cheltenham.
By close of play we shall have seen most of the protaganists and I have invested a bit ew on R2R at 25s. GL
Hopefully, with our portfolio of R2R, Many Clouds and Silv Conti, we pretty much have the GC covered!

I found that race more confusing than enlightening tbh, rather like the cameraman who didn't know which of about five horses to zoom in on after the last.
Still slightly envious of that 33/1 voucher on RTR tho'..

Highland lodge to recoup our loses today adz ?
I have backed Ziga Boy last couple and hope that now its finally won, it can step forward again.
I was told that Highland L needed plenty of time between its races, so it makes no sense to see it out again so soon.
I have opposed it, but with so much money for it, I have no doubt I will have egg on mush later!!

Hats off to the fly there, thought McManus had hatched a plan with 3 in the field, but great battling qualities fron the hurricane.

Lavelle has become a bit of a disappointment as a trainer hasn't she?
Seems to have a lot of promising types that just lose form very quickly

Thay always used to call open ditches "regulations" in Ireland for some reason that nobody could ever explain to me but suddenly a couple of years ago the term appears to have ceased to exist.
Anyone care to enlighten me?

Bit of a touch landed there by Tony Carroll/Adam Kirby in that last race at Lingers.
I had a look at it earlier this morning and it seemed a tough race to sort out could easily have had 4 or 5 darts in it.
I backed the first winner of the day at 14's. But gave a chunk back on the Swan raider.
Had a tickle on Billbrook Blaze e/w in the 2:00 Taunton.

I was quite keen on Alberobello in the 2.30 on his first go over fences, but with half the fences likely to be dolled off, who knows.
I did notice Valid Point moved from Jim Old to Twister and could be chucked in if he sees the sort of improvement one might expect.

Hugh Taylors step-in has stuck up that Alberobello earlier the day.

Wrong!
Valid could be worth following, but think we best move along...nothing to see!
