Didn't play sats for this as I was booked in for an appendicectomy today. All done and back home.

Just wow at the set up. Well done Rob and all the DTD people involed, truly awsome.

Tighty and Adam great updates as usual. A little disappointed to hear Caroline didn't make it, lover her penmanship.

Best of luck to all Blondes and everyone I know playing.

Ben Vinson is out, just before the break

I caught up with him

"There you are, how did you go out?"

"I don't really want to say"

"Oh go on, your brother would love to know"

"I don't really want to say"

"OK Never mind"

"Do I have to?"

"Well I am not forcing you, but if its good...."

"I turned my hand into a bluff"

"Sounds interesting Ben..."

"Do I have to tell you?"

I mean, I should have been a hostage negotiator, it would have been easier

"Well I had KQcc and I opened to 2200"

the floodgates have opened and I can barely write fast enough

"The button calls. It comes  . I make it 3000. He calls"

He pauses, momentarily reflective

"The turn comes , so I have the nut flush draw. I check, He bets 5700, I call"

"The river bricks for me but completes the other flush and I check, He makes it 17800"

"I move in for 59000. He is a decent player. He can't have A-K, no 3 bet pre, so I think I can make him pass. I can have the flush...."

His voice trails off and I wait patiently

"So he thinks and thinks and then after five minutes calls with A-Q. I couldn't make him pass"

and all because his brother asked a question on a forum, you get the story...

ALERT! ALERT!

I arrived at table Trigg to see him raise UTG to 2600. Jean Giannotti (again, apologies if these names are wrong, but I am going off the latest player list that we have been sent) called only for Toby Lewis in seat 3 to make it 8500. It folded round to another anonymous Mateyboy in seat 6 who cold 4-bet to 26500. Trigg and Giannotti got out of the way and Lewis just called.

The flop was and Toby led for 16,800. This was quickly met with an all in from his opponent for 75,000 total and Toby called pretty quickly, showing . Unfortunately for Toby, it was a classic cooler situation with Mateyboy holding , meaning Toby only had 2 outs as the backdoor flushes were covered. Neither of those 2 outs appeared on the turn and river, sending the 210k pot in the direction of Mateyboy and leaving Toby with not very much left.

Reunited and it feels so good
Reunited 'cause we understood
There's one perfect fit
And, sugar, this one is it
We both are so excited 'cause we're reunited, hey, hey

Around 200 of 319 left so thats around 62.69%, and will still be over 50% when we end

I believe it is half of the combined field at the end of Level 8 tomorrow yes

There is a call by 10-10

Bruno Launais from France shoves J-J

The limper folds

Bruno Launais is one of the chip leaders with over 300,000

Chris Bruce exited just before the end of the day - he ran 2-2 into J-J on a T T 3 Q 4 board.

Tom Middleton lost a chunk when he got it all in on a flop with Giuseppe Zarbo. Middy had for the nut flush draw and Zarbo had for the overpair. The overpair held on the turn and river.
