We tried to move but Snoopy's internet connection isn't having it.  Temperamental technology...  So it's back in the hall where the guests seem to be drifting off somewhere anyway, and the band has dispersed.  Back to the poker.

Jen, I have a clip online of the brass band! Its two megs and its linked off here.

DeV.

Noooooo - my clip doesnt work - i want to see the band!!

Ah luckyblind you are an absolute star - that is essential viewing.

Other non-band related news - Anthony Chessa OUT

He moved in on the button with the perfectly respectable  , and the small blind woke up with  .  I watched the cards come out and they were all irrelevant to the outcome, so we're down to 37.

Feature Table News Now -

Got there at the end of a hand as Bad Girl Xuyen was stacking some chips.  Thought, "there won't be anything exciting here now I bet," then saw her raise the very next hand to 7,000.  Daniel on her immediate left moved all-in for about 20,000 which she eventually called with  .  He had the  though!  So that was a 30k hit to her stack, leaving her with about 70,000.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Team Norsemen Update:

Woody is sadly out, but enthusiastically wandering the tables like us press types now.  He told me that Anders Berg had had a bit of luck, moving all-in as a desperately short stack on the small blind against the big blind who had Aces... with 94off!  But the board tripped up the four (can you say that? Sounds weird) and he's still in.  Team mate Edgar Skjervold is doing much better, though, and Julian has just been moved to his table.  Between Edgar and Mads Andersen it's not a terribly easy spot though.

I'll add some local inside info.

I'm not sure how it works in other countries, but in Denmark, a child is baptised 2-4 months after it's born. Most parents decide on the name of the child after it's born, but obviously before it's baptised.

This morning the newest member of the royal Danish family was baptised. In this country, any royal event is a big event, and it's been on the national TV channels all day. The name of the prince, who will one day become king (unless we come to our senses and gets rid of the monarchy), has been the source of much speculation, and all major bookies have been taking bets on it.

I have no idea what the party at the hotel is about though.

Anyway, keep the updates coming. And get something to eat!

Ram's lost a few (including some of his new blue 5,000 chips) so is on around 85k.
Looks like Don Protz is OUT.

They're braced to break down to 3 tables.

It's very hard to see the action at the moment because they're trying t ominimise the amount of press standing around the tables. They claim it's too crowded, but I just think they don't want anyone getting in their camera shots.

Not sure why, I'm very photogenic.
