Well done to the updaters, outstanding effort over so many days.

Massive congrats also to DTD for a fantastically successful tournament.  It was a real pleasure to have been at Wembley to share in the experience.

Finally, to Tighty, truly one of the unsung heroes of this success.  The continual flow of info across so many channels and communities over twelve weeks was very impressive and it sounds as if he made the most of his high profile commentating opportunity today.  I hope something even bigger comes from it, for him.  He's deserving.

Well said Des....so glad to have made it there. A very special poker event. I know Rob said he wasn't sure about another one!!...but as he said, given 12 months and the right date, I'm sure any stadium can be filled Smiley

Thanks everyone for unbelievable support. Really humbled.

What a job Tighty and updaters have done.  And obviously Rob/Simon/DTD Staff. Imagine if they'd had more time?!

Alex being a star driving me home. Will sleep for 24 hours straight. Bad final table performance but good bink :-)

Thanks again!

Unlucky for Pete, but sick result and at least the way it played out vindicates his decision to deal.

turned on the stream, really want to hear tighty, but for that I have to hear zimbler. seriously why the fk does he keep getting asked to do this? why are you putting aids directly into my ears. awful, utterly awful.  just adds nothing.

A suggestion I just made on skype...

[4:58:40 PM] Andrew W: i'd rather hear the sound of the toilets
[4:58:47 PM] Andrew W: just put a mic in the mens cubicles
[4:58:51 PM] Andrew W: and let us listen to grunts and splatters.

def learn more.

I have no particular love for Mr Zimbler, but,

He's a decent bloke doing the job that the organisers chose him for and paid him to do.

It's a free service. You don't have to listen.

What gives you the right to go around insulting people like that?

Shame on you Andrew.

Thought you played OK on the final table along with Pete (who I thought played by far the best throughout), but Pete got quite a few hands though, it seems you was card dead throughout.

Well played both.

Great updates.  Well done to all big scores.  Congrats to DTD for taking this on, and the exposure it no doubt bought.  If you could in the future with any major events such as this not schedule in the nut worse time for me so I could've at least had a chance to be involved, k tx.   Smiley

Aaron doesn't get out of bed for less than a millball.

Great updates all, and top results for Nick and Pete
