It seems Rodgers is out with broken collarbone and might make it back for the post season.

Hi Phil, sad news, I love watching Rodgers in full flow. Surely Detroit are worth a big bet for the division now? I've taken a decent chunk at 11/4.

hi Ku, yes me too, always great to watch. Like your bet on Detroit too, I had a bit as well.

Hope you are well mate

In real life stuff, I'm very well :-). I hope you are too! I was tempted to call in for the Saturday of the TfT bash but ended up down in Cornwall catching a few waves on the tail end of that big storm.

On the American Football betting, I've had a very poor start to the year. I haven't found many spots I like and the few bets I've had seem to have found some crazy ways to lose.

There are still spots that I like going forward, Detroit seem underrated generally, there'll likely be some value being against Denver (San Diego +7). I'll also be with New England over the next few weeks with key players getting fit.

Have to be against Green Bay without Rodgers at the likely prices, teams will soon found a way to stop Starks and Lacy when there's such a limited threat through the air, I'll certainly be interested if there is any Philly +3 about.

I've been impressed with Tighty and Neil's tips so far this year, it's looked tough most weeks and they're making it look easy.

Detroit really should win the division now

Chicago's defense is not good enough (too many bodies out in front seven)

Teams can now stack the box against Lacy and Starks, with Seneca Wallace in at QB

Minn are out of it, obviously

--

Coincidentally, I like very much Washington to win the NFC East. RG3 can run again now, transforms that offense

nice one guys, me and rich have had pretty decent bets on them @ 11/4 as well as chicago @ 7/2.

how come you both left the bears alone, think the rodgers news makes them a great dutch.

Mental note to be on the Buccs next season

Top 3 pick gets them Bridgewater/Mariotta etc

Revis/David/McCoy/Doug Martin etc

Plenty of talent, appallingly coached

The Martin/Ingocinto story got me thing.

If two NFL players of the same team got into a fight on the field a la Dyer/Bowyer would a penalty be assessed?

Reggie Bush ( Detroit) quoted on Sky over 77.5 rushing yards... Bears run D pretty awful ranked 29th in the league avg allowed 127.5 ypg... anyone with a deese running game has gashed them for big numbers all season...5/8 games oppos lead RB has gone for 95 + inc Bush's 139 in this fixture in September...Lacy killed them for 150 on Monday and add to this 2 starting LB are out as well...Bears front seven allow runners through to the secondary a lot and the safeties miss tackles too.... Bears can't load the box as Stafford will shred them with Megatron in man to man...

77.5 looks a bargain even with Bell adding numbers whilst Reggie has a rest ..

So my biggest bet for the weekend is on Reggie..fingers crossed he doesn't get twatted 2nd play in

Thoughts?

Seems good to me, I expect Bell over 77.5 too.

Have had a bet on there being more than 5.5 sacks in the Houston-Arizona game. Only Skybet offers the market, so I can't post it as a recommend/suggestion on Tips for Tikay.

Arizona's left tackle has missed a few days with 'flu this week. He will play but he has to deal with JJ Watt. On the other hand, the Cards pressured Ryan last week to 4INTs and Keenum will have no running game available with Foster out. Tate has four injured ribs. I've also learned (was news to me) that chasing the QB out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage counts as a sack. Seems interesting, anyway. Slightly north of Even money with Skybet.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Apologies for that outburst, but was feeling rather irritated after watching Chris Johnson set fire to my dough!
