Does this mean I get to date Zooey Deschanel?

And for the record, Yes. I would.

Have you watched Psychobitches, Barry? One of those shows that really tickles me but I know.I'll have difficulty finding anyone else who likes it!

Basic premise is Rebecca Front plays a psychiatrist and is in session in turns with various famous women from history.

Julia Davis's version of Sylvia Plath (playing her as Pam Ayers) is a work of genius.

I haven't watched it, it looks quite hit and miss depending on the character. Reminds me actually of Rock Profile with Lucas & Walliams being interviewed by Jamie Theakston if you ever caught that?

I must say I probably do avoid new comedies by women, mostly unconsciously. I think comedy still has its gender prejudices and I know a lot of women who also avoid comedy by women. I used to work in a comedy club when I was at Uni in Nottingham (lots of funny stories there, the Just the Tonic club at Fletchergate) and the female comics always got a really raw deal from the audience.

Rock Profile was arguably the funniest thing they did, before they turned to shock humour in Little Britain. Reasonably well known that Lou and Andy came from their portrayals of Lou Reed and Andy Warhol.

Psychobitches is quick, so the weaker ones are passed over quickly. The cast isn't entirely female, but the characters are. I find women in character comedy is much less risky as we have some really talented comic actors, but stand up is much more hit, miss and miss.

Why we can't get more Josie Long on TV I'll never know.

Agreed.

I liked the way they either got the characters spot on (Blur, Geri Halliwell, U2), or knew they would never actually do them justice so went completely in the opposite direction (Prince, Bez).

Hate to say it but Jamie Theakston helped the show too.

U2 was brilliant.

You got me looking for something else and I found this fellow:

What I find ironic is he is presenting a 'here's everything you need to know about irony' video in rebuttal of previous attempts to explain it, so that someone who has no understanding of the concept has all the information they need, except he goes at a pace so fast and uses terms only going to be understood by those who already know the difference.

And by 'ironic' I mean deeply disappointing.

It serves even less purpose than the videos he's criticising.

I have been plagiarised a lot in my job, I think it is just inevitable. I wouldn't quite call this plagiarism, much more careless and lazy. Anyway name and shame and all that.

This is my original from July 14,
http://www.pokerstrategy.com/news/world-of-poker/Column:-What-will-the-2013-WSOP-be-remembered-for-_74516/

this is the 'new one' from OnlinePoker.net

http://www.onlinepoker.net/poker-news/wsop-news/happened-tv-pros-wsop-2013/20187

(Mods by all means remove links)

Attached is a screenshot, mine is the one on the right. It's no biggy as it is just a 'puff piece' but even though it was rewritten and some themes expanded on, it's a blatant rip.

I am actually playing catch up, only started on it about 3 weeks ago and I am already halfway through season 4. Already consider it the greatest show of all time.

Without giving away spoilers, what are you excited about? Is it the start of season 5 or the final episode?
