Any numbers available of people who have signed up to the DTD cash games?? if your gonna take the dtd sponsorship seriously then im guessing that u need lots of regulars playing to make it work??

I had a eureka moment to encourage players to participate in the DTD cash games and would like to gauge  what blondes / dtd managers thought of this proposal!!

My thoughts:  from all rakes hands - rake an additional 1% of the pot, this money could be accumulated into a super pot which would be played for at the end of each month, with the top 200 players having an invite into this freeroll torney! This event could be online or indeed live.  The 200 players would be eligible my accruing a point for each day they played a cash game regardless of how many tables or stake they play = therefore a max of 1 point is available each day and a max of 31 points in the month.   I'm no mathematician but i'm sure this would generate a healthy pot to play for each month.

I know that Aspers casino have used this system in London and have generated some massive 80k + pots and that was with raking an additional £1 from the pot, this rewards loyal cash players and gives everyone an opportunity to win a decent cash at the end of each month for free!!  I cant see any reason why this type of scheme would not work online!!??

any thoughts??

I don't like it. too many people disadvantaged.

Anyone not available to play misses out.

People outside the top 200 miss out.

The Vic takes an extra £1 from every pot>£20 to fund a regulars freeroll once a month and that too makes a tidy sum. From limited observation it means that a lot of regulars sit at tables through the day enjoying the conversation and practicing their folding skills whilst they accumulate points to enable them to participate in the division of everyone else's money.

To whom it might most concern....

Whilst not a big fan of online cash games I love this idea and have dipped my toes in on those occasions when I've been able. Was a bit miffed that when someone I'd recommended it to tried to play (happened to be in a game I was in as that was all that was available) he was declined on the grounds that previously I have transferred money over to him using the IPoker Skin.

The next day I couldn't join a table because he was playing in it.

Of course I have been playing people who I know well who I havent transferred money to. And lets face it poker$ transfers must happen all the time.

I have signed up to the terms and would of course never breach them. This particular rule I'm not a fan of. Can it be undone? I doubt I will need to transfer funds again, or would agree not to if need be.

PS, Ill out myself; DONKUOFF, look forward to seeing you all there.... (although not quite all of you  talktothehand

As these games are private tables and all players are verified club members with full ID on our systems - I have requested to Ipoker that our tables do not have this restriction.
Ipoker have confirmed this is acceptable and will be fixed today.

thanks for letting us know good luck in the game.
