Herbie just lost a 200K pot, with a little bit of controversy thrown in for good measure.
Brett opened UTG to 2k.
Herbie 3 bet to 5200.
BB Jason Clarke 4 bets to 12,500.
Action back round to Herbie who says "Call" and throws in three purple 5k chips. He goes to scoop one of them back out as only needs two in to make the call.
Jason Clarke then asks for a ruling, as he says Jason throwing in 15k in 3 chips constitutes a 5 bet.
As if! Herbie hasn't got a 5 bet in his game!
Floor is duly called and rules that it was indeed a 5 bet.
Action back to Jason who then shoves all in.
Herbie calls with pocket nines. Jason Clarke has AK - first card out is a King.
Herbie down to 46k.
Surely for it to constitute a 5bet. Herbal would have had to put at least 16150 in the middle before removing chips??
Are these bet sizes correct?

Bet sizing correct, as far as I'm aware, although I did raise that point, as i thought it it didn't constitute a further raise.

Tom langley's back body-double won't be coming back tomorrow I'm guessing, having been felted just 15 minutes before we wrap it up for the day.
He raised pre, then flat called a min 3 bet from the player to his left. Both players are listed as Anon today.
On a flop of 9 10 J Langley-back-double shoved it all in to be called by Anon2 holding pocket tens. His flopped set held against Anon1's straight draw with AQ in the hole.
Anon 2 up to about 140K.

End of level 14!
A mahoosive 79 players are going through from today, plus 26 from yesterday and 21 from the online day.
126 players will come back tomorrow. Blinds start at 1500/3000 with an ante of 400. With the average stack at 130K it could be a very long day.
Let's hope for lots of allins and no split pots in the first two levels, or is that just selfish?
Updates start again tomorrow at 1pm!

Nice. You made your first ever move (decent too) in a tourney by mistake.
Can this now be the bring back smashedagain thread?
It's a cracking read.

He never said call and bet sizing is pretty much right him 5.5k me 12.7k.....I explained I had to get a ruling because I think he was trying to peel me in pos and he was happy about that so hope no hard feelings from him towards me ! Was a 140k pot so I gues he was quite annoyed

From the quoted updates he put 5200 in then 3x5k on top = 20200 so looks like a 5 bet to me. If they didn't hear him say call I guess its just bad luck.

Heroes all starting to take their seats.
I have the delectable Sam here with me today doing some updates.
Will start with some photos, although Steven Ayres has just warned me to give him ten minutes to prepare himself for any photos today, as he didn't think he looked his best on Friday.
