This comment probably has no place in the thread, but I quite like lay-by burgers / bacon butties etc.
Yes! There is a van outide the local B&Q. He does a burger with egg and onions. It's great. The one in Arnold? If so I agree

On the topic of burgers, there aren't many threads anywhere where this story is actually relevant. In South Africa at a game reserve they had a competition on where you had to eat two of the burgers, and they came with roughly the same size again in fries. If you could polish both of them off within an hour, you won 36 cases of beer.
Maybe a long way to travel for a decent burger tho...

Or not so far for 36 free cases of beer.. Swings & Roundabouts

Well I was there for a month. So I thought, week 1 ill give doing one a go and depending on the strength of the results ill eye up doing the challenege the week after.
Ate like 60% of that one and was a complete write off. Apparently only one person had managed it in 10 years.

Probably the worst thing about living in lboro is that they don't have a burger king. And I am not a kfc man.

I'm on the road a lot of the time and eat loads of that stuff. The burgers normally aren't that great, just cheap burgers usually. The bacon sandwiches etc can be decent enough though as long as they have scrimped on decent ingredients.

They might taste okay but most of them contain ~20% meat. And when I say "meat" well...

Might have to investigate that place at some point. Just tried this Annie's Burger Shack place, it was decnt enough but I'm not gonna jump up and down about it. I had one of the more elaborate burgers with loads of different flavours in, so it was hard to taste the beef really. Think I'll give it another shot sometime and just have a cheeseburger or something more plain so I can actually taste the burger itself. They all looked very pretty coming out though lol.
