Legalise, decriminalise and tax it all.

All this bollocks about 'the dogooders will then become addicts/ people who never did drugs will get addicted as they were illegal before' debate that people spout does not wash with me.

People will experiment with drugs to get high, regardless. Surely if it was controlled, it will be safer, and meanwhile the crime rate plummets, dealers and their associates suddenly have no trade, the government taxes it so gets a huge mainline injection, of cash pardon the pun.

We already tax and licence addiction forming drugs-alcohol and tobacco.
