Yeah playing a season or 2 for the saints if the saints can perform will be a boost for him and it's not like Roy will ignore him for England if he starts playing like he can

from the reports I heard today and speaking to a Cpl of guys at game Southampton at times looked much better than last season today, although team is still bedding down
great to see pelle getting his league account open

now if we can just go to Monday with the lose of maybe just boruc and the addition of the a winger and maybe another defender I will be optimistic of a good season after al the turmoil
and hopefully battling it out for the best of the rest again this season

Buzzing from the game yesterday.

Atmosphere was awesome and after we went behind, we were excellent. Tadic is a real steal, was clearly a level above the rest all afternoon. Massive kudos to Schneiderlin as well. Ignoring the goals, every bit of his game was spot on. His passing is just on the money every time. He won't be going anywhere now so at least we get one more good season from him.

Thought we looked really lively, particularly in the second half when we pressed higher up the pitch. Early days and we are still very weighted to left side attacks with no right wingers in the squad - I suspect we will pick one up in the next 48 hours. Very encouraging though - top 10 should still be the aim based on current squad and the competition.

As for West Ham - one of the worst performances I have seen in the premier league. Hoof ball rubbish, Noble the only player with any quality. I get they have a lot of injuries but the thought of watching that week after week...

dramatic fall from grace for Andros.  Less than a year ago he was England's best player.  Now can't get in the Spurs team.  He needs a move I think.

He played well today Cheesy

Toby Alderweireld and Sadio Mane both undergoing medicals at the moment.

Both look good and fill important gaps.

what is even better than just signing 2 much needed quality players is that we beat off competition
of Newcastle and spurs for there signatures 2 teams about or just above us in perceived "pedigree"

Not going to win. Think it's Liverpool.
