what a fantastic end to the season, 5/6th and record points haul

will be supporting Bournemouth Tuesday in the hope of getting 5th and the auto group stage of Europa league
i can imagine that man u will have a young fresh eager team out on Tuesday as they rest the main players for cup final

Failing that happening, back to routing for Man U, if they win the FA cup then it is automatic group stage anyway.

Interesting Koeman interview post game. He is meeting with the board this week to discuss 'ambition' and 'next steps'. He said 'actions speaks louder than words'. He is going to be looking for some assurances on keeping players and spending money I expect. Everton can jog on.

Pelle waved his goodbyes today. Likely going back to Italy for one last contract. Will need replacing. Best hair cut in the team too.

Looking forward to the Kelvin Davis testimonial this week. First 11 v Promotions 11. Adkins as manager of the promotions 11, all the old boys back.

At least you won't be coming up to Celtic and nicking our best players this summer.

Sadly that's because the players who looked like doing a Wanyama/Van Djik (Bitton, Johnannson) have gone backwards in the last season.

Only Celtic stick out now is Kieran Tierney, but he's only 18, still lives at home and goes to support his local pub team etc. An absolute Celtic fanatic he's got another year or 2 before the board force a move to cash in.

Paddy Roberts is the other one who looks a lot better than those round him, but he's Man City's.

I think you might want to change the name of this thread tomorrow.
I heard that Koeman has signed for Everton tonight.
It's from an Everton fan on a Fantasy football site (which I appreciate is lol) but he does seem very much ITK to me.

Heard Giggs suggested as a replacement. Would obviously be a gamble, but there is a certain synergy in having someone who appreciates the importance of the young developing players at a club with a fantastic record for producing them.

Unai Emery please. A perfect fit.

Absolutely must be a European pedigree manager. No interest in Giggs/Howe etc.

Emery reportedly very keen for a Premier League job and who would blame him. A consistent top 10 squad, European Football, an excellent youth system, top class facilities. Don't think it would be a particularly hard sell. Depends on interest from elsewhere (PSG).

Would have FDB, Pellegrini and Villas Boas on the shortlist too. Some good options out there.

Had a really vivid dream that me and Koeman were in a room together and he was crying because he didn't want to leave but he had to to further his career.

Woke up and felt like crap. Been miserable this week, it's an absolutely gut punch that he is leaving. Just wish they would announce it already so it can be done. I want to see his face when he gives his first press conference. He categorically said that he would always see out his contract - no matter what. Always had Koeman as a man of his word - one of the old school but, of course, there is no loyalty in football any more.

I can take players going but the manager is the focal point of the club.

Chirpy Everton fan at work is going out the window soon. Hope the owners pull out next year and they go bankrupt.

confirmed gutted more that i lost a tenner laying koeman as next everton boss at 1.02 than i am he has gone
we are in a much better postilion now than we were when adkins left having had 3 really good managers on the trott
and in europa league for 2nd season sammy lee and dave watson are staying which will help new guy along

i think we can get a really big name even bigger than koeman this time round
