Just caught up on your diary Iron. Nice to see it's not all poker now so I'll stick around until it goes back to shit like "played for 8 hours, won 4 quid..... blah blah blah....."

How do you cope with things like your knee problem? Is it a case of having to make a habit of regular visual checks to see what's going on? I remember reading about a lady who had her foot eaten by her dog, not sure if it's an urban legend but obviously easy to see how these things can happen!!

I'll likely not be playing poker for another month or so

I get regular check ups at a spinal clinc and diabetic clinc
Diabetic podiatrist sees me every 2-4 weeks

When I notice something wrong likea blister on foot I have to get a health centre appointment that day

Both paraplegia and diabetics are bad healers so combined  it's worse

I can do damage to myself and not notice it as I don't feel the pain so with my knee I likely
Damaged it early last week just wrote it off as a knock but it's picked up a virus under the skin
And my knee is red and yellow can fry an egg on it so hot and twice normal size

They are just waiting for a bed to be cleared for me and I will be admitted already got drip in

Expectation is 2-3 days I feel fine it's my knee that's unwell and as I can feel it I feel no pain, likely that's why it's got bad

Hospital wifi doesn't like poker so blonde is banned fml will have to flirt badly with the nurses to pass time as I won't sleep if I am feeling ok.

Got good news and bad news

Good news my knee is much better

Bad news i picked up a bug running a temp over 38' and cant get home yet.

Good news is atleast i am feeling ill so dont mind being here

Looks like i could be in a big longer was feeling good untill friday when i started feeling ill been running a temp all weekend on 3 different anti biotics and a drip in my neck called a central line also oxygen mask as my oxygen is low on the plus side i aint so bored as i am dozing alot
