800/1600/200
Button raises to 3700, find 44 and peel.
Flop: Q62 rainbow. Check check.
Turn: 3. I check call for 5600
River: 4. I bet 8500. Folds.
KQ of clubs under the gun, raise 3800. Utg+1 shoves for 25k. Call. Shows 55 and he holds.
Back down to 80k
Getting myself in a few positions to chip up but it's not happening.

Had a bit of a battle with the guy 2 seats to my left.
First hand: I open utg with KK to 3800, he 3 bets to about 8000, i 4 bet to 20k. He flats. I'm sat with about 65k behind, he has about 80k.
Flop: Q 9 3.
Given the stack sizes I'm finding it difficult to make a decision, so jam.
He tanks, folds 10s. He keeps saying he wishes he'd have called after thinking about it longer. Again, any advice is welcome here.
Next hand. I'm on the button with A10 of spades, make it 3800. He ipen shoves for 90k. Says he had a pair and didn't want to let me shove on him again. Hmmmm.

Moved from table 1 seat 1 to table 15 seat 2.
Really enjoyed playing against the guys in seats 2&3, one of them who won the ukipt nottingham last year.

Still on level 9 and a great hand for me.
Utg limps for 2k, mid position makes it 7200, look down at Aces for the first time tonight. Make it 16k. He calls.
Flop: KJJ 2 clubs. I bet 25k, he tanks. A bit of playing with his chips, didn't put him on a J or KK from my read. Shoved for 100k. I call. He has AQ clubs for the royal draw. Jack on the turn makes him dead.
Next few hands: have 77 twice in a row and lose twice. Then find AJ in a 3 way pot. Thevturn brings 4 to a straight and I don't put him on it so raise him. He folds an overpair to the board.
On about 250k heading into the final break. Average about half that. Blinds will be 1200/2400/300 when back

About 275k @ 1500/3000/400.

The last 2 levels were simply awful, missing flops, having dominated hands spiking their card etc.
About 5 mins towards the end of play I min raise the cut off with A5 diamonds to 8k, big blind shoves. I thought he had around 100k, was later told he had 60k (2am problems, tiredness wasn't helping) but i passed. The guy was actually shoving pretty much any 2 for the last few hands. Probably should be a call or fold pre.
Despite the shitty last hour or so I'll be coming back for day 2 with 158,000, returning at 3000/6000/500, and was just below the average for the day (175k ish).
I'll sort out refunds for the unused 2nd bullet following Sunday's play.

Cheers Eso! Yeah still nice to be bringing a few chips back, I suppose I was just being bitter at what could have been, but that's a terrible mindset to have. Let's run good Sunday!

Hand 3: not keen on how I played this, any comments appreciated:
500/1k/100.
Utg raises to 2500, 2 callers. I find 10s in the big. Just call.
Flop: 356ddx checks round.
Turn: 2x. I Lead for 5k, button calls.
River 5. I bet 7, button raises to 17. Sigh call, he flips quads.
Was up to 100k at one point, sitting just below average now.
The re entry period has ended so if I don't make day 2 I'll either play tomorrow or the turbo on Sunday.
River seeems close between c-call, c-fold and bet-fold, i don't think i'd c-fold unless it's vs someone who just wont bluff or value bet thinish.... but I dont think many/anyone will be raising river in this spot to that size as a bluff.

Seems like a fold vs most people in the deepstack readless, pretty surprised anyone would be shoving 15bb utg1 vs utg with 55 tbh, but i'm assuming you had reads... if he's shoving 55 then KQs is doing pretty well vs his range.

Not sure why you'd shove flop on Q93, such a good flop to bet-call... you get people shoving a load of pairs, any Qx, JT, KJ... all of that stuff, jamming just makes his fold all the stuff you get it in great against. Sure he'll call with AQ, KQ JQs, maybe JJ/TT, but nowhere near as wide as when you bet-call.
Nothing major, looks like a solid days work. Gl tomorrow.

Thanks for the input.
With the 2nd hand I was getting about 1.5/1 on the call, 21.2k more to call into a pot with 33k already in the middle, with KQsuited, and the guy wasnt a complete nit, was getting involved in a lot of hands and so I thought it was a fairly standard call, but maybe should be folding.
And with the 3rd hand you highlighted it was the stack sizes that really put me into a weird thought process, and the fact he just flatted the 4bet. I thought betting 20k again perhaps looks too fishy, and perhaps tank jamming 65k into a pot of 45-50k ish could get some calls from hands like jacks + 10s. But like I said I wasn't happy with the situation and was happy to take the pot.
Thanks again, time to spin it up tomorrow!

Yeah vs the guy you described it's pretty standard, but there are a decent number of deepstack players who will be shoving super tight in that spot, just got to judge for youself, sounds like you got it right with the KQs.
Think your thought process is somewhat flawed in the KK hand, sure it's a big pot and it's good to win big pots, but if the guy has QQ/99/33 you're going to lose whatever happens. The SPR is so low and the board is pretty dry, it's not like your hand needs to protect it's equity. You just want to make sure the villain gets it in as wide as possible. It's lovely winning the 20k he's put in already, but missing out on the 65k he's got left by making him fold 9x, gutshots, JT, random pocket pairs that might spaz-jam... is a really bad thing. It's amazing how many gifts you'll get in a deepstack, so it's somewhat criminal to not give them the opportunity. Bet 13-17k and call it off or jam turn if called. The number of times you'll see someone jam 44 in that spot and be like 'i thought you had AK' never ceases to amaze me.
