 General Weygand, Admiral Wemyss and Marshall Foch after signing the armistice with Germany to mark the end of World War One. The ceremony was carried out in a railway car.

The impact of the First World War in some British towns was nothing less than catastrophic. This photograph is an area of houses in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. Each poppy represents someone that did not home after Armistice Day.

Mark David Chapman asked him for an autograph.

Lennon signed on a copy of his album Double Fantasy and says to Chapman: “Is that all you want?”.
