I voted to remain. I'm simply pointing out that if you want a sensible discussion about racism, implying that all Brexit voters behave like that is probably not an effective way of going about it. |

You could make a just as misguided argument that we were right to leave the EU because of all the terror attacks that have happened in Europe since the referendum. |

It is a serious issue, but putting the "truth about brexit voters" is always going to spoil the discussion by getting people's backs up. Some brexit voters are clearly nasty unpleasant racists, the rest aren't (well maybe a fair few are a little bit racist or xenophobic too!). So this is only the truth about a small proportion of brexit voters. |
