http://www.zdnet.com/article/snoopers-charter-expansive-new-spying-powers-becomes-law/

"The law will force internet providers to record every internet customer's top-level web history in real-time for up to a year, which can be accessed by numerous government departments; force companies to decrypt data on demand -- though the government has never been that clear on exactly how it forces foreign firms to do that that; and even disclose any new security features in products before they launch.

Not only that, the law also gives the intelligence agencies the power to hack into computers and devices of citizens (known as equipment interference), although some protected professions -- such as journalists and medical staff -- are layered with marginally better protections."

Not sure on the source as my friend sent me the link. Was this what people meant when they said the Government took advantage of USA election to sneak some legislation through,

They haven't been sneaking anything through, they have been doing it in full view of the f*ckwits that call themselves an opposition.

btw I predict that ISPs will be forced to hand over records in support of a civil action, eg divorce or copyright.  Obviously there will be numerous cases of unauthorised access.

The Prime Mnister

October: "We will trigger Article 50 before the end of March "

Yesterday: "We stand ready to trigger Article 50 by end of March"

a subtle shift in language

Why not ABCDEF?

I don't know what the official definitions they use anymore are - but off the top of my head C1 was lower middle class and c2 was skilled working class. The idea is that there isn't really very much difference between the two. Although that is undercut by it being split ABC1 and C2DE so who knows.

Was thinking the same, he could dethrone Corbyn and Trump his way to No 10.
