Just to clarify, we haven't left the continent of Europe, just a political union. I have witnessed near hysteria from some quarters today, like the gestapo are gonna come marching down the street any minute. We haven't left Europe peoples...
Btw chatting politics with a sexy 20-something in the steam room sounds like an ideal start to the day.
Tried to blag being polish but she didn't buy it.

Indeed. Talk of Far Right Governments is just ab ridic. There must be plenty of tooth enamel on household floors around the country, as folk grind their teeth to the gums. Incred scenes.

Funny conversation i had this morning in the steam room at my gym. Got chatting to a young lady in her 20s
That story tailed off after a promising opening.

Anyone just hear that stat on bbc show? 40% of the population of Birmingham is under the age of 25? Really? Even with the universities is that really possible? Given that stat B'ham as a region really under performed in the remain vote last night.

If I bought a villa in Spain tomorrow, would I be allowed to live there and would I be a European?

You'll always be a European. The rest depends on people we have no control over.

For the next two years you would be abut after that it depends how things go. I imagine we will not being agreeing to freedom of movement with the EU and because Spain is in the EU you would have certain restrictions. At the same time I can't imagine any country wanting to stop expat retiree's from living there. You will always be European in a geographic sense, probably less in a social/cultural way as we simply have less in common now. This is all opinion though.

Can't see Spain stopping the current EX-pat deal, based on the state of their desperate economy if it were today.

IoM was never in the EU so no change there. Gibraltar looks in trouble - companies there will prob have offices in Malta or somewhere they could shift licences to.

I think that just applies to goods (actual physical things), which Stars wasn't involved with.
