Like nirvana I feel more glorious as each day passes. I voted for equality and democracy, principles that are worth more to me than money. The more the mud-slinging continues about stupidity and ignorance from economics experts the more resolute I become. In fact I feel great pride in the courage of British people, we heard all the scare stories, the threats and the doomsday predictions and we still stood up for what we believe. That's what being British is all about and we are a truly great nation because of it. People gonna try and bully us? That's never gonna work in Britain mate.

Good post.

Despite the myth that all Leave voters were old, stupid, selfish and racist the reality is much different. Sure there were a few racists voting Leave but I'm quite sure there were a host of unsavoury wankers voting Remain too. What makes me really happy is that despite all the experts opinions and scaremongering from high-brow bearded bureaucrats it was a 16yr-old girl who had the biggest influence on me. Young, a grammar school pupil, middle class, courageous, her whole future ahead of her.

Don't know if anybody can post the video as no clue how to do that schizz...

Incidentally not sure Tikay is suitable for Home Secretary as it's not a role where you can afford to dither. What's more I've never seen a member of the cabinet drinking a Starby's or twiddling their willy on the front bench.

This is fascinating stuff.

Don't think I've been this interested in politics since Spitting Image went off air.

One of the greatest news stories ever, it just keeps giving. Love reading this every morning.

Kudos to you for keeping out of the opinion sharing part of the thread as always, many a headache dodged no doubt.

Wink

I have more than enough headaches already, Barry.

What a great story though. And nobody dies. Perfect.

bit unfortunate phrase tbh

I get that people are enjoying the chaos this is causing the government, putting them in their place etc.

I just don't think leaving the EU is a price to pay for that.

I doubt anyone wants the chaos, but when life gives you lemons etc, may as well enjoy it
