It's a big call for may. Does she throw 40 votes to Gove so he gets into the final 2? Goves net rating in yesterday's you gov poll of members was -20% from +4% a month ago. She may think that is a gamble worth taking rather than trying to beat a woman brexiteer who appeals to the right wing nutters. May beats Gove, May not beat leadsom so maybe she does

Wouldnt fox's backers come down on the legit brexiteer?

Is it legal to tip balance and tell some of her supporters(May) to back gove to help him get top 2?

Is there a lot of spin involved in all the "Leadsom is awful" stories that circulated over last 36 hours? Just watched the EU debates (sad I know!) and she seemed quite competent.

I imagine May rather wants to face off against Gove in a ballot?
yes all spin from all candidates. All have weaknesses, and its a dirty fight

May plus crabb is 200. Fox 16 go to Gove, leadsom. Who comes second might quite close. Secret ballot. No legal problems with tactical voting

Fox must think its a done deal May wins and wants to salvage whats left of his career?

Crabb left as you said, she can pick her opponent, surely picks Gove.

wont Gove pull out if he thinks he's being played?

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

By hook or by crook, I'm sure he would love being in the final 2 to promote his agenda . He knows he would lose to May, (due to Boris) but presume would be pencilled in for a decent cabinet position.

In choosing Brexit, British voters decided that ideological considerations trumped economic ones.

why does lower sterling matter?

" Sterling's collapse is a big problem for a UK living beyond its means

With an annual global deficit of 7%, the post-Brexit turmoil is going to hit hard unless UK can balance income and expenditure"
