'working class black woman in the 70s'

FYP Doobs!

I've been super critical of her, still am in policy/competence terms that i've seen. but then you hear her speech or read up on her past and it is genuinely baffling. Obviously a lot can be said for writing the speech in advance and going over it having help vs on the fly interview.

Sorry, I didn't mean in this thread, however much I wish she did work in this thread!

I meant general news on TV/papers, they are all calling her our for a being a clown recently, but it all seems pretty justified on recent public appearances.

Everyone else is being called out for all sorts of things, just depends what/where you are reading?

I just don't understand how she wasn't properly prepared for interviews. People around her should be providing appropriate information. After doing a very public interview that went viral she is always going to be a target. Either make sure she is super prepared or get her away from the cameras.

I read on Twitter that Labour hasn't put her forward for interviews for a month or more.

But she was contacting broadcasters and print publications on her own behalf to book interviews.

if you replaced Corbyn with Starmer and May with Rudd the decision would be much tougher for me with both parties instantly seeming less shite.

She confirmed this herself in one of her telly interviews.

More importantly has anyone ever seen Tighty & Diane Abbot in the same room?

for once my local seat is up for grabs i am so looking forward to seeing the result

i love election night i rarely get to sleep till mid day friday

all the projections online are showing Angus Robertson losing Moray to the tories one saying that the tories are 53% likely to win the seat
but the bookies all have SNP at around to 4/6 and tories 11/10
will be intresting to see who has it right the pollsters or the bookies

just had a pretty interesting discussion with someone who was saying that the chief strategist at the company they work for (large multi national) has explained with a report of analysis that the best vote for them as people/company is Labour. Which shocked us both. Regardless of the fact that they will get hammered on corporation tax, the employees will mainly have to pay more money because all are well paid (their only benefit being possible investment in infrastructure) the stances of both parties on Brexit make it a no brainer. The conservative no deal strategy would be so viciously negative in it's outcome that he has recommended that all vote Labour.  I was pretty shocked by that but it's very interesting given that for so many people the deep economic ramifications will be not understood and offset on other topics like NHS/Security that sway their vote.
