More of this type of article is needed, by Daniel Hannan - leave Tory MEP:

https://www.conservativehome.com/thecolumnists/2017/08/daniel-hannan-twelve-principles-to-unite-remainers-and-leavers.html

The ultimate outcome to Brexit will i am sure be a EU/UK fudge, both extremes of each side are going to be unhappy, the miserable middle is the only way forward.

Viewed from Brussels, the U.K. seemed so ill-prepared in the early rounds of Brexit negotiations that some EU countries think it must be a trap.

This is the worst sort of aftertiming.

The election was called basically because Theresa May was seen as "strong and stable" and Jeremy Corbyn was "unelectable" and "dangerous"

The Tories couldn't run on their record of 7 years of austerity, could they?

If they had known what a useless campaigned May was, they surely wouldn't have called the election in the first place?

Wall St Journal has a point here about Mark Carney's credibility. No Bank of England governor can afford to cry wolf.
