 ERG vision for crucial implementation phase inc WTO rules certainly different to what's been on the table, and it won't go unnoticed that number of signatories is WAY more than would be required to spark a leadership contest

This is really significant as it could prevent a "standstill transition" if that is what govt want to achieve. Trade experts says ERG are trying to undermine that with letter - and in doing so asking govt to "sacrifice the economy on the alter of ideology".

Fascinating column by Finkelstein who has outrageously written down what Corbyn has actually said and put it in a newspaper

There are concerns - on both sides - that translating December brexit deal on Ireland into draft legal text risks blowing up Brexit talks in March.

All three major TV news networks refuse to broadcast Corbyn’s press rant after he refuses to answer their spying questions;

(don't think that matters much as it went viral on social to supporters, which is what is being played to)

an interesting think piece

"If borders were openA world of free movement would be $78 trillion richer

Yes, it would be disruptive. But the potential gains are so vast that objectors could be bribed to let it happen"

The UK's performance in 2017 contrasts with strengthening growth elsewhere, and means we've fallen behind Germany in terms of overall post-crisis growth in GDP

We've now gone 45 quarters (11.25 years) without growth in annualised GDP per capita reaching its pre-crisis average. The longest previous period of this kind (starting 1990) lasted just one-third as long

GDP revision means UK output per person is just 3% above its pre-crisis level, nine and a half years on... At this stage following the 1980 recession, GDP per capita was up nearly 27%. Following the 1990 recession it was up nearly 20%
