What a day for Corbyn. Loses backing of Israeli Labor Party...gets support of Nick Griffin

'We cannot retain relations with you while you fail to adequately address the anti-Semitism within Labour.'

It's so plain to see what a miserable pacifist Corbyn is at times like this. Nobody wants a war but confronted with images of children being gassed he urges Trump, Putin and Assad to "get round a table" to sort out their problems. For sure he has some valid points to make about society and all that but even the most ardent Labour supporter must confess he simply doesn't have the stomach or the mettle for leadership, especially of a world power. Huge embarrassment of a man and as weak as they come.

Yeah, let’s get stuck in. We haven’t had a good dust-up for a while, especially one where Russia is clearly in opposition. We have a point of principle, so let’s go to the wire for it. What are we risking, apart from an unknown amount of the world’s population?

No you're right, let's stand back and let Russia deploy chemical weapons on mankind, definitely the safer option.

Why won't Leave voters change their minds?

survey says

- People are bored by Brexit and not rethinking their vote
- Being a 'Leave voter' is now a strong identity
- Pro-Brexit arguments around immigration and sovereignty still resonate

It's a tough spot for sure but still quite extraordinary that the regime (as a minority government) went with it, in flagrant breach of international law. They won't save a single life with what they've done.

I guess I thought the UN Charter was enshrined in law, I might be wrong. Still a big shout for the regime to do this, they will be terrified if they hit anything Russian.

At what point do you draw a line in the sand? When they use chemical weapons another once, twice on civilians and children?

If they do nothing it gives the Russians and Assad a green light to do it again.

You don’t think Assad will think about the consequences before doing it again? Wouldn’t this potentially save lives in future?

It's tragic and it's a difficult decision certainly but a minority government (henceforth the regime) who lost power last year in an election and then bought power back by giving money to fanatical religious extremists, has then attacked a sovereign nation that is allied to Russia without consulting parliament. That's a big deal, Woodsey and Mantis probably still think Corbyn is the news. :-)

The same thing happened last year when it was less clear what a failing disgrace their own government was, she did nothing then.
