I hate the way our opposition parties spend all their time pointing out that the government is doing wrong instead of telling us what they would do right.

I thought I was going to like Keir Starmer but I alas I have no idea what he wants to do, only what he thinks Boris has done wrong.

Completely agree, it is surely so simple to understand that people want to hear their ideas or alternatives but they all seem to be obsessed with pointing out each others wrong doings.

Like all of the Dominic Cummings stuff today, does anyone outside of the witch hunt actually care? He was responsible for half the stuff he is now distancing himself from and he is out for revenge.

Nothing is going to stick to Boris this year as he rightly or wrongly received the credit for the vaccine roll out.

100% agree with this.

I originally thought Keir Starmer might be the breath of fresh air needed to provide some viable opposition but nope, he's a tool.

I don't think I've ever heard him say anything positive. Just constantly whinging about the tories have done wrong and what they should've done with the benefit of hindsight.

Complete muppet.

Labour need someone to come along with a vision which is around 80% Corbynite in outlook but

a) demonstrably proud to be British
b) without the baggage of much of the identity politics that riddles the party
c) stops telling the British people they are victims and provides them with a clear outline of the kind of support people can expect from Government to help them better their situation

Surely we need some warning before having to view that picture again?  Hands, face and space all right there in the one picture.  No wonder this lot all got Covid.

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2021/jun/25/matt-hancock-sex-cop-busted-clinch-health-secretary-hookups

Anyway. To the many, many, many sentences your 2019 self would not have understood, do please add: “BUT THIS WAS TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE BAN ON HUGGING WAS LIFTED!” Absolutely devastating to think that a full 10 days after The Clinch occurred, Hancock went on telly specifically to warn people thinking of hugging a loved one that they “should do it carefully”. Turns out we could have hugged people really hard, with tongues. Unless they were our relatives, I think?

etc.

I honestly believe I'm the only person in the UK with a balanced and thoughtful outlook

Can't argue with this.
