Leeds isn't too far away for many and even if you are not there today for the GPPT event ($250,000 GTD and looking like great value) you can:

- Play the final online day one tonight on partypoker at 9pm. late reg to 10.45pm and/or

- Two One day side events on sunday including a $50,000 GTD at 1pm which late regs to 4.15pm (20k chips, 30 minute clock)

First time I've played one of these, brilliantly run and had some really fun tables where we people talked and not earphones on and playing in silence. Unfortunately my button A7 shove ran into BB's AJ.

Had 3 bullets in the account

used 3 bullets on saturday

but made day 2 with 209k

spent an hour or two on the feature table having a good laugh, lost the last of my chips when my shove with 89s was called by the eventual winner who held AK, but i'd lasted to 63rd place and had laddered up nicely!!

Brilliant time, i wish there was one closer to home, might have to play online legs to use up the 2 tickets i now have, 1 from pasrt of my winnings, and 1 from winning one of the all in flips!

And now the motorway has reopened, i might be persuaded to make the trip down the DTD again more frequently

Great job by all of the guys and galls there, i just hope that Rob etc isnt put off running something similar when he sees the final balance of any/all overlays!!

$50K Golden Chips for GPPT Glasgow on Partypoker for 1c buy in - all are hyper turbos so should take less than 60 mins to play [2 Gtd per MTT running 5pm - 11pm hourly 7 days a week] . We have had a few problems explaining the Golden Chip concept outside of DTD walls so we have simplified it:

1. Win a Golden Chip
2. Win the GPPT Glasgow
3. We put $50K extra cash into your partypoker account

Hope this new simpler system is easier for players to understand. Golden Chips will be given to players at Hamden Park but remember - you must keep your Golden Chip in front of you at all times during play - we need the advertising and it looks good and adds to the excitement of the day.

Made day 2 with 199k, great atmosphere, good to see no Grassroot players enjoying an affordable comp with the chance of a decent cash, managed 59th place just card dead all day JJ and AK x2 £890 in the PP account and £109 token. Well done dtd was ran very professional with a great venue as well.
