further info just released

" Online Day 1s start very soon, and there will be several Live Day 1s at Dusk Till Dawn before the weekend of 17th & 18th.

Next the tour heads to Stamford Bridge, London (28th & 29th Nov), with an Online leg in December and the leg I am most looking forward to, Old Trafford, Manchester in January 2016.

The rest of the schedule will be confirmed in the next few weeks, but we expect to be visiting Hampden Park Glasgow, Cardiff City Stadium, St James' Park Newcastle, Elland Road Leeds and Amex Stadium Brighton over the next 12 months with several Online Legs included.

As always, the Grand Prix Poker Tour is 100% Online Buy In / Online Payout. So the online buy-in is set to $109, rather useful for the thousands of players who have $109 tickets!

The Grand Prix Poker Tour features a brand new innovation - Players Choice Day 1s. This is where a player can play an Online Day 1, and choose which Day 2 they wish to play, at any venue, at any time in that tour 'year'. So you could play your Day 1 in October 2015, and your Day 2 in June 2016! We'll be launching a facility on the new website to enable you to make the choice online.

A Grand Prix wouldn't be a Grand Prix without our famous Grand Prix Golden Chip Promotion. Players winning $109 Tickets from the 7pm Mini and the 7pm Micro will also win a Golden Chip. This chip could win you a Porsche or a Dream Holiday (or cash alternative). Read all about it in the promotions section of the website!

We are also going to be running a fabulous WPT Leaderboard promotion, where for every Grand Prix Poker Tour Day 2 you make, you win an entry in the WPT Leaderboard, with £100,000 of WPT 2016 seats up for grabs!"

Players making Day 2 will forfeit their Day 2 stack if they enter another Day 1

...just to clarify please...you make day 2 with a small stack...30,000 say...and decide to try again but then fail to make day 2 again.

...I assume this also means you have forfeited the day 2 cash you would have secured if you had played with your 30,000???

I know, but there are a lot of players who have qualified.........350 already I think.  Gonna be busy at the club if the GP is on also, hence my query about whether an error was made on the schedule.

no if you look at the link above and click schedule it all finishes on the sunday

obviously the event is aimed at the recreational player who works weekdays, so it'll be done over the weekend

i am going to play this one with a $109 token
I was more referring to how late it would run should i be fortunate enough to FT.

Guess i can handle being tired if that happens though!

The first Grand Prix Poker Tour - Players Choice Day 1 is in the lobby, ready for Sunday at 7pm. Remember, play this type of Day 1, and if you make it through to Day 2, you'll be able to choose to play your Day 2 wherever, and whenever you like! (in season 15/16)

You'll receive an email on Monday confirming your chip stack, and your options, just reply to the email and we'll sort out the rest.

Find the Grand Prix: Online Day 1 [Players Choice] in the Live Events / Dusk Till Dawn / Grand Prix Lobby. Buy in is $109 (or ticket), starts at 7pm on Sunday 13th!

OK, so this looks amazing and seems like I'll actually be around to play for the first time ever! Awseome!

Am i right in thinking these are usually involving a day 3?

If i make day 2 is it prudent to book Monday off?

Hi guys,

Apologies, i've been neglecting my forum duties Smiley

Just to clarify ALL Grand Prix Poker Tour events are currently scheduled as 2 day events with no plans to change. They will play to a finish on the Sunday so no need for any holiday days to be used from work.

For licensing reasons all events will be finished by 2am Monday mornin if that helps.
