Team above and not really sure. Maybe get a Palace defender in and possibly an Everton defender/midfielder?
So you're Degensville?
And you've already taken a -4 to get in Robles + Lukaku? And now you're wondering if it's worth taking another -4?
Well if you buy an Everton/Palace player, they will have 2 extra games as they have a DGW (double game week) in GW33 and a DGW in GW34. But they both then have no game in GW35.
So if you buy too many DGW players, you'll be short in GW35. You already have Payet + Lukaku + Robles who have no game in GW35. You can only afford 1 more if you want to put out 11 that week.
If you buy an extra Palace defender, you cost yourself -4 points. You have 2 good games in GW33. You have 2 poor games in GW34. And then you have no game in GW35. And you may want to use another transfer (which we can value at around 4pts) to get rid of him. So you might need 3 clean sheets out of the 4 (or a goal) just to break even. And even then, depending on how the player you replaced would have done, you could still do worse.
There is an adage in FPL circles, "never take a hit for a defender", which I don't always agree with but in this case, it looks correct.
Everton is a little trickier.
They have a DGW in GW33 + GW34, no game in GW35 but have another DGW in GW37.
That's great but who is going to play all of Evertons games from now until the end of the season? Lukaku probably but you have him already. Barkley or Lennon, maybe? But there can (and probably will) be rotation.
Everton still have the FA Cup and that surely takes precedence. You could be buying players for the DGW and they only play one of the two games.
As for defenders, who out of Evertons defence could you want? You have Robles (who won't play GW35 and probably not GW38 as that is Evertons last home game and Tim Howard is expected to get a chance to say 'goodbye'). But defenders? None that I can see realy appeal.
The annoying thing about Evertons 3 DGWs is that of their 6 matches in those weeks, 1 is at home and 5 are away. Although considering their home and away form, that may be a blessing!
So the answer to your question is, "probably not worth it". But who are you thinking of selling and who are you thinking of buying? And we can look in more detail at it.
