Whatever you think of him good on him for standing up to the press. For too long now we have had politicians that pander to the press for fear of the wrong thing being written or not getting what message they want to be out there in print.
I'll bite.
He didn't stand up to anyone. He abused a journalist and refused to answer a legitimate question. He is a public servant and should answer questions from the public. If he genuinely thinks he can get away with this type of press conference throughout his term, he is going to find out he is wrong quite quickly.
He believed an organisation had written some nonsense about him so took the fuck you approach with them, don't blame him if he knows he is right, if evidence proves otherwise then yes he will go down in smoke and will fully deserve to.
Time will tell if he can get away with this style or not, but the bullets are bouncing off so far.
I didnt really mind his approach in that spot tbh, I'd rather that than pandering to the press, but then again I'm not the sort of person to pander to anyone....
