A poll by Harvard Harris has an interesting twist.

Their result was:
Biden  29%
Sanders 16%
Warren 13%
Buttigieg 8%
Bloomberg  7%

Then they added in Hillary Clinton and John Kerry (?) as options and guess what happened?

Clinton 21%
Biden 20%
Sanders 12%
Warren 9%
Buttigieg 5%
Kerry 5%

Given the results in the UK, I am going to reverse my prediction of Trump, losing in 2020,  he will win the presidency again.

Congratulations to President Trump - it’s been a record-setting week. Like an athlete who hits his peak and breaks several world records in a short period, Donald has been at his prime this week.

On Sunday he smashed his all-time one-day record with 105 tweets.

Then on Thursday he reset the target by tweeting 123 times, which is more than he managed in any full week in 2017.

367 tweets to Thursday night already makes this his best week ever - with two full days still to go. This could be a record that will stand for a long time - I know we all send him our best wishes for a big finish.

Be Best!

Bernie Sanders has spent more on TV advertising than any other candidate:

Sanders $8.6m
Buttigieg $7.2m
Yang $4.7m
Biden $2.2m
Warren $1.9m
Klobuchar $1.8m
Bennet $1.1m
Gabbard $1.0m

Sanders has received more donations from more donors than any candidate in history - four million donations from one million people at an average of $18, but it still seems like an unseemly amount to be spending.

Hold on, though, I was forgetting Tom Steyer. He has spent $81.2m. Ten times as much as Bernie. No-one can compete with that.

Except Mike Bloomberg, who has already spent $100.6m in a few weeks.

A hundred million dollars.

And you can be sure that his spend on staff, organisation, online and so on will also be massive. If you thought American Presidential elections already required ridiculous amounts of money, they have just moved to a new level where millionaires can't compete.

Presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg lists every single school shooting that’s happened since Donald Trump took office.

I was watching the impeachment speeches whilst dozing today.

Was that Collins guy Schiff's opposite number in the hearing?

All the Democrats said impeach. All the Republicans said don't impeach.

It is already accepted wisdom that all the Democrats will say Guilty and all the Republicans will say Not Guilty.

All of them promised to be impartial. Draw your own conclusions.

Yes he was and he really grates me , talks ten to the dozen and rambles on like my ex.

That's probably why he grates on me  Grin

Think a couple of the dems said 'no', too,

I've seen it reported that the impeachment trial before the senate will last approximately ten days.

Does that mean that Donald has to sit there in the dock and keep schtum during the entire procedure?

It's worth impeaching him just for that.

Some of the leading lights have said straight out that they are not going to be impartial.

"I have made up my mind. I'm not trying to pretend to be a fair juror here." - Lindsey Graham

“I'm not an impartial juror.” - Mitch McConnell

Perhaps it's better that they are admitting it than pretending. Seems bizarre though, to admit you have made your decision before hearing the evidence.
