With 200 left I am finally, about 48 hours after the last time i was able to do so, get around the room and all the tables

what i find is as follows

the chip leader with 700,000 at 4-8k is a player from Walsall, Satnam Sandhu. A seriois looking chap who, iirc finalled the SPT that Sam MacDonald won here. Quick player note on Satnam. Do not bluff him.

Also in the top 5 is another tricky customer, Andrew Garland from Bristol with 600,000+

Also right up there is Guy "tempor" Taylor

So is Redmond Lee

and so is Simon Higgins

i think they are the five chip leaders

around the rest of the tables the following are all stacked more than ok and doing well

Leo McClean is next to a player called Stephen Bantick, both got plenty of chips

Kully Sidhu is well up there, hoping to follow on from his EPT Dublin 3rd

Malcolm "redfox" McKinlay doing ok

--

meanwhile Nick Hicks has gone

very short he shoved UTG and George Christodoulou also short re-shoved

Hicks A8 v AJ and liked the 2-8-9 flop

6 turn

J river

Rob Yong

Thx for UKPC & WPT National is $1M

Thanks everyone for helping make yesterdays UKPC work, I think we made it over the line by 3 runners, 1003 runners and another £1M event at the Club that was only delivered with the help and co-operation of you - the players + a lot of hard work from all the staff and DTD and of TK and Sky. We had to juggle times around once we realised that almost every qualifier was choosing Saturday and every comment I was from players was supportive.

I was especially pleased personally that we used the freezeout format for Day 1s this time and still made the £1M, as a gesture of goodwill and to say thank you for your support we will double the GTE for the May WPT National from $500K to $1M.

I am writing you this note from Wembley - see view below. Goodness me - that ISPT we did

Right my head was swivelling between a few tables

on table 36 Kully Sidhu raised four hands on the trot, won them all, bet every street and never reached showdown though he did voluntarily show once

He 3 bet in position and was called

80,000 in the pot he bet 35,000 when checked to on

He bet 65,000 when checked to on the turn

his opponent folded

he showed
