George Graham knocked us back as a player and has before also knocked us back as a manager saying the job didnt interest him. I dont see what he brings to us . We have surely had enough of Dour scots. Dalglish and Souness were playing legends but couldnt do anything in the St James Park hotseat .
Hitzfeld has been offered the job apparantly but is waiting on other offers and to see how we end the season to see if we would be in Europe and how much would be available for players.
My own feeling is that a new boss will have 10 million to spend. Anything else will depends on any transfer fees received for Luque , Bowyer , Owen (

) and even worse Given (Anywhere i can back him to be Arsenal number 1 next season ??)
Failing that then i think Glenn Roeder could be almost forced into it. FS could say if you dont want the job then you dont want to be here so youre out of the academy. After 5 wins and a draw so far , all be it against lower opposition, the team is playing decent football with a spirit not seen since the Keegan days.
Roeder would love deep down to be manager but was badly scarred by his experience at West Ham as well as his illness at the time. But me personally dont you learn from bad experiences. How many people crack it first time.
If we can get a world class manager then fair enough but if not i would rather have Glenn than Big Sam , GG , Paul Jewell , Alan Curbishley etc
Each 90 mins Glenn gets closer to the job. He will get us top 10 this season and realistically could any big name come in and do any better ?
NAP Hitzfeld with a saver on Roeder
