Yo - check my answer to 13.

I did. It's not correct.

Don't want to go into detail as there are still answers to be revealed but it's not what most people think it is.

Sorry guys. I know I said tonight but something came up here. Results are all typed so all I have to do is C&P so at 7pm tomorrow I will put them all up in one go along with the draw for the next round and the specialist subjects.

Again, apologies, I wasn't expecting this thing to come up tonight!

Obviously the fourth player was supposed to be horseplayer, but as a few people already know, horsey is not very well at all at the moment and all our thoughts are currently with him. Hopefully he can get through this and come back to blonde when he is able.

The only group to end without a tie, it is favourite TightEnd who edges out maccol to take the seeding and complete our final 12. Nirvana heads out at this stage although against two titans of general knowledge, he did run bad in groups – 14 would have been enough to win another group!

This round is head to head, which means the introduction of specialist subjects. There are 9 to choose from, and they are as follows:

Maths
Science
Geography
History
Music
TV
Movies
Adult Entertainment
Sport

There will be 10 general knowledge questions, 5 from your specialist subject, and 5 from your opponent's choice.

As I only have five questions of each, you both can't choose the same. PM me two selections - first and second choice. I will only use your second choice if your opponent has chosen the same first choice as you. First come, first served.

Questions will come out within the next couple of days. Good luck all!

I strongly dispute the answer to 13.

Optometry is merely the measuring of eyesight.

Ophthalmology is "the branch of medicine concerned with the study and treatment of disorders and diseases of the eye."

Also, I got two more points than tikay; he gets through and I don't.

The whole concept is horribly flawed. Smiley

Oh, and nice job.
Thanks for running it.
