Finau (15)
Kokrak (25)
Vegas (45ew)
Li (45ew)
Fritelli (70ew)

Then a bunch of first round leader bets. Big, low quality field, this is going to be a fun sweat.

How he justifies 14/1 is beyond me

Hope you haven't got your Vegas roll on him Marky

Vegas roll is safe, for now Smiley

Only had  a few quid on him at 25/1 after he looked good in something last year.

Some nice play from Speith and Hoffman last night has nudged me into taking some 25s on Jordy for the Masters. He has a quite incredible record and we have been in this situation of poor lead in form before. Augusta lights him up.

Hoffman is the new Couples and the 100-1 for first round leader has to be snapped up for this one round wonder.

I had the same thought yesterday evening but all the prices had shortened up already when I looked and 20/1 was best.

Not sure this is true. Every year he’s ever played the masters, he’s finished top 20 in at least three of his previous four stroke play starts. This season he hasn’t had a top 30 all year.

also, decent starts arent unusual for him, even this season. Spieth’s round by round scoring average this season:

1st - 27th
2nd - 18th
3rd - 202th
4th - 212th

Hideki has finished top 20 the last 4 years in a row, is playing a lot better than Spieth, is number one on strokes gained on approach (pretty much the most important stat for Augusta), and is nearly double the price. Seems like a no brainer to back over Jordan tbh.

You can call on all the stats you like to fit your argument, but I am nicely in front backing Jordy for the title and Hoff for first round leader......Thanks for the input though.

Happy to apologise after, but not before.
