I've never seen a deciding frame anywhere near as dramatic as this Wilson/McGill one.

It could have been scripted by Alfred Hitchcock.

The greatest final frame since 1985 Ralph?

I think this had more sub-plots in it - the missing snookers until he needed one followed directly by the in-off.

How can some people not get sport?

Hope you and the family are keeping well Phil

All good thanks Ralph, hope you are well too.

Imagine scoring 83 points and losing a £100k frame.

I reckon that frame was worth £1m+ in long term EV to the jock as he gets into the top 16 with a final appearance and init the top 6 with a win.   The gtd masters prize money (and all the other top 16 benefits) for at least 2 years and potential for a heater to stay there.   No way it had the same pressure for Wilson who is tight in the 16.

Yes you are probably nearer the mark there Arb,  Incred scenes all day.

Yes he did Phil.

Not many people know this but I don't like Ronnie. That said, surely he's entitled to play any shot he likes within the rules.

I've always been a big Selby fan but he can add me to the list of people who don't respect him now.

That’s how I saw it too Tom, if he’d been tearing balls around the table and left them on Selby would have been in the final and happy about those shots.

How the Hell does Kyren Wilson manage to play snooker and do a chicken impression at the same time?

Watching the snooker on BBC1 and running about 7 mins behind because of pausing, rewinding shots etc.

Towards the end of the final frame we get, "We're leaving the snooker here on BBC1 but you won't miss a shot because coverage continues on BBC2"

I switch to BBC2 and it's finished.

Could we please rewind and have the semi-finals again.

Poor old  Anthony McGill must be rueing his bad luck even more if he's watching this final.

I think the frame to go 9-8 rather than 10-7 was the killer.

What's with Ronnie's scarlet nail-polish?
