On yer bike son.

All bets voided on Djokovic on betfair.

No?

Surprised at that. But I guess it explains the weird prices that were available.

Funny thing was it dawned on me that was likely to happen as soon as I saw the headline, but I didn't think about it before.  Must be getting slack with my betting thinking.

Novak seems an ironic name now.

Djokovic 'treated like mass murderer' - Serb president

Spat my coffee out at that headline on the BBC given the Serb president's history.

That does make sense, should have cashed it out earlier when he was on the way to the airporto still trading around 10s

you wouldn't have won anything by cashing out.

Would they void settled bets?

Of course they would wouldn't they as they aren't settled, just two traded positions....

Ignore me.

Norrie hasn't played well all week in the ATP cup, hoping he can pick himself up before the start of the Open or with or without Novak he ain't winning diddly squat.
Dan Evans has looked on fire all week though.

Norrie hammered overnight, not really a surprise given his form seems to have fallen off a cliff.

To be fair Liam Broady and Jack Draper have looked better players so far this season!

I read he had covid, but no symptoms, so missed some practice.  I don't think that explains all of the tail off, but guess if your game relies heavily on your superior fitness then he would be more affected than most.  Think we can stop talking about top 10 for a while, though guess he hasn't got many points to defend given he didn't do so well last year either.

Good to see Raducanu back winning.  She was odds against today, and tonked Stephens in sets 1 and 3.  Set 2 was a bit weird with Stephens playing well and Raducanu a bit cautious.

I looked at the provisional rankings and now everyone has lost last year's Aussie Open points, she is up to 13.   Now if 20 odd was an unrealistic ranking...

I didn't see much this morning, but Raducanu is out.  She seemed a bit out of sorts, but she showed in the last game she can play at a high level.  Just think she needs to keep playing and find her level now.  Think she is still going to get to the top 10.  Watson was no surprise, but a shame about Murray.

Evans and the doubles players left, got £4 on Evans at 940/1.  Wish I'd put more on, but forgot to go back and it seems lots of 999/1 was available.  For those who think this is a bit aftertimey, I had made about a tenner last time I looked.

As an aside, does anyone know why we don't get so many top female doubles players right now?  We have a fair few kicking around the top 200 or so, and a few of the men took that path, and it seems to be working out for them.
