Nice one Marky.

No f/c???

Nah, would have needed enough ammo to cover what I won.

I had Gold Present & Singlefarmpayment for any race, from a long while back, and they all turned up here.

Can anyone confirm I am not going mad here

£30 free bet
Used as £15 EW on Singlefarmpayment @ 7/1
1/5 odds
1-5 places

Should pay £21 not £6?

Free bets are usually not stake back

There was a thread about free bet maths a year years ago but I can't seem to find it. Essentially, pick one that is as tight to the machine price as possible and back it win only.

Thanks Rinswun

Not overly fussed on the best way to use them, its more the payout issue!

It is actually in their T's & C's, different to everyone else as far as I know.

They deduct the place stake and the win stake part of the free bet if the horse places!

Yeh, that is pretty standard I'm afraid.

I managed to find the thread in the end. Hat tip to Doobs for putting it together.

By my rough calculations the total winning distances today on heavy ground at Cheltenham was an incredibly low ~16 lengths.

The shrewd bet always used to be buying the distances on the spreads if the ground is heavy.

Anyone know what the line was today?
