Wow, nice, triple up, 29k

Really close decision in PLo8, folded  as an all-in call with a raise and a pot 3bet before me.

Then, down to 8,500, CO in limit 08, I am dealt at 2k-4k, and put it in with a MP raise before me. Small blind made it three bets, and so I had a three way all-in.

Board came back . Not good, i play AK high. But the six checks offered some kind of hope, and indeed it was good.

This feels like a tournament that I've never really been in, so I'm thrilled to still be in it.

Down to 34k. Dealt     at 5kbb, UTG+1 and I raised. I was just thinking how tight the table had been, when the quiet guy to my left 3bet to 15k. Not great news, but obviously I have a strong hand, and may well be able to go with it on many boards. I call.


Flop is . With 19k (bets are 5k flop, 10k turn and 10k river), I'm now always basically going with it, and so lead. He just calls, which seems like great news.

Turn is . Not great news. It brings in the flush, counterfeits my low. But does give me two pair, and my live deuce may become significant. Card removal and his flat call on the flop make it now quite unlikely that he has the AA that I feared pre-flop. With just 14k, I may as well bet it myself, to prevent him checking behind a hand like AK82. I bet, he raises the strong   (top two pair, nut low). I've no idea at all why he didn't raise the flop with top pair and nut low draw.

I can only get half with a 7 or K, or a quarter with a 3, and in fact he makes a wheel.

A lot of fun, 56th for $3,256

May have overplayed one slightly, its close. I'm right of bring in with the (77)A, 9 me to my right completes with a Q and J behind. I two-bet, and barrel til fifth. Give up sixth, and in fact we check down, and a pair of nines beats a pair of sevens.
