$10000 Main Event

Got lucky. 28k

I have  on the CO. MP throws in a 1k chip. Confusion, and he says he meant to raise. Presumed 100% true.

My sizing is a big decision. Presumably he will come along for at least 1,800, but the BB is the player who doubled me up with 43, and I am short enough that I do want it three way. I make it 1,400. Big blind and original limper call.

Flop . Beautiful. I have 13k. MP bets 1,500.

It must be right to trap. He will go crazy on a non heart turn. He I call.

BB makes it 6,500. To be honest, it doesn't feel good at all, but it has to be right to go with it. Not far behind two pair, but some possibility of a hand like , and definitely also of something like , (given the earlier 43 play). I move all in.

Given that he thought so long with the cinch call earlier with 43 to my all in, his call after two seconds feels like bad news.

He does indeed have .

Board comes

Phew.

10000 Main Event

Through to day two with 27,300

Not the day we wanted, but the two times I was down to roughly the 13,000, I would have been quite happy to know that we are participating in day two.

A tough day, where I made at least two fairly big folds--which if wrong, are the reason I'm short and if right, are the reason Im Still alive.

Restart Friday  11am

Good luck to the Tower Enterprise INC CEO.  Looking forward to celebrating the success at the Stoke v Wednesday game next year.

Thanks so much guys.

Had a chat with Warbs (who busted towards the end of the day) after, as we were both a little stunned by the seemingly random agression from two recreational players, but we feel fairly sure that most of it was the deck just hitting them; we can't recall seeing a single bluff shown down all day

Wish there wasn't an off day, raring to go tomorrow!

$10000 Main Event

Excited ready for the start of day two.

27,300 at 300-600(75).

I hadn't recognised any names on the table draw but at first sight, table does not look good.

Table does look interesting. A debate on squaring the table, and then a big debate when seat one declares facing a four bet that he has kings, later shows them to show he has been telling the truth, and there is a grand debate on whether this was legal or not. Legal or not, I think the three seat found it helpful, as he took it down on a ace high flop!

$10000 Main event

Nice spot.

One seat is creating a lot of situations, has been declaring his hand alot and generally doing "interesting" things. Three seat opens to 1,500 on his blind. Three seat is the one who won the lot against him when he (correctly) declared he had kings.

I have been very quiet, and so three bet to 4,300 with three clubs. He folds
