$10000 Main event

Nasty one.

Staller's big blind. Xian Liu opens LoJack to 3,500. I have 9h8h. She won't have seen before before, which is big, as I have a decent innocence factor. I feel it just has to be right to do it. I three bet to 9,500.

She calls. Flop three clubs. I bet 9,000, she calls.

Board comes three clubs , and is checked through. Definitely thought about merigng the River agianst a range that is often 77/88/TT/JJ, and the merge has some small extra advantage that she may fold a 9, but I decided she wouldn't treat TT/JJ exactly the same as 77/88.

She has

Bagging 81,500 now

So yes, bagging up 81,500 now for day three.

Definitely pleased after the start, but the decision for the fairly big bluff with AQ was definitely close. Maybe the way he checked his cards swings the probability just about enough, that he has he ace of hearts and is just wanting to check. Actually a relatively simple day apart from that. Alot of fun, two very friendly tables (even 'seat one' mellowed a bit throughout the day)

Well... I never thought I would be happy to be missing England in a world cup quarter final. Sleep will not come soon enough to be able to wake at 7am!

$1000 Main event

Soon to start day three, as Guy says, will take the England morale in with me.

Well, I don't recognise any names on the table draw. Which obviously doesn't necessarily mean anything, but seems a good sign

Player who seems good raises HJ to 4,400. Big blind has done some interesting things and is stacking in tens. I three bet button to 11,500 with , and get it through.

$10000 Main event

Absolute mess of a hand. Will describe fully later.

Seat six is "very very new"  to the game.

I make it 4,500 with   . Seat six says "let's play for ten." Seat Seven is definitely good and flat calls. He is playing 180k, seat six has him covered.

This is so tough. Maybe should move in. I call.

Flop . I check, seat six bets 12k, seat Seven calls.

Just a mess already. Little idea what to do. Seat seven will be playing a very sensible range. He now basically 100% must have one of AQ, AK, or QQ.

I call.

Turn . I check, seat six looks lost and checks. Seat seven bets 20k. I call. Seat six shakes his head over and over, and calls.

River is . Both check, seat seven bets 40k. I have 45k. Pot going to the river is 130k.

I end up folding. Pre flop and river may just be horribly wrong. Decided that preserving my last chips has alot more value than it usually does,  table looks brilliant.

I thought for probably ten minutes and probably should have had the clock called. A million thoughts about it, and ultimately no idea what to do.

Utter utter puke. Will go into detail later.

Doubled up. JJ Vs 66. 68k. Board 43434

If I found one of two ways to butcher the AK hand, I am a lucky boy

$10000 Main Event

Table is beautiful. We even have an Austrian soccer player.

Seat two seems to be the only experienced player, but has had a frustrating start, including doubling me up. He opens to 4,400, I make it 12,500 from SB with , he folds

I would like to apologise for inadvertently using the word soccer in the previous post, I don't know what came over me.

Highlight so far: Seat seven asks seat 2 "can I see your stack?" Seat three helpfully points to the stack, thinking that seat seven didn't know where it was
