Raised UTG to 3,800 with . Italian calls button. SB player, who looks good, squeezes to 21k.

I have 60k, so I can only have fold equity against a Bluff. It's not impossible he's messing around, but obviously having raised UTG and it being the first time he has put chips into the pot, I can't realistically do anything about it.

Schemion and the Italian get into a long staredown/banter fest. Schemion triple barrels QJ828, with a big 55k on the river, and the Italian absolutely snaps him off. And is correct.

Hmm, big decision, not the kind you expect

UTG +1, who seems fairly inexperienced, raises.

But he raises to 15,500! (3 5k chips and a 500 chip). He immediately looks shocked, and says something. I don't catch it, but obviously it must be an acknowledgement that he has thrown in the wrong chips.

Big decision. First question is, what is the chance that this is all genuine? I decide that I'm 80% that it is. The miss click of course fits with trying to make it 3,500, and confusing the 1k chips with the 5k chips. Of course, the other big factor is that, if this were an angle, it probably would be with only one hand. Not even Kings. And I block half of the combos of that hand.

Very possibly I should go for this. But with it being UTG1 raise, and some small chance of an angle, I just about back out

An aside to this is that this hand (even in the likely event that this is all genuine and the guy has never angled in his life) is further damage of the angle shooters. The possibility of angle shoot lies in the air thanks to the unscrupulous behaviour of some, and confuses this hand, even though the action probably is genuine.
