Well I made the Jan target but it feels like a fail.
Not sure if I got there too easily, or if I'm just not fully committed but I've pissed away that good start.
Instead of being at 13 10 with just 3 pounds to lose this month, I'm as close to 14 as possible so need to lose 7lb.
Been doing the hard work around meals etc but then letting myself down on the snacks, especially in the evening when watching TV.
Feb is going to be 50/50 between straight down to 13 7 no problem, and this coming to an abrupt end. (Not really a 50/50 shot
)
Got 3 curry nights, and 3 other social nights to contend with too.
Anyone else still here?

Haha, good luck mate!
I'm here, but not doing anything yet.
Just about to start trialling my new meds, and will probably chill out until after Cheltenham.
Other than a few trips to the gym, anyway.

Am still here.
It all went a bit wrong, and am sure we have another thread for some of this. The youngest got Covid two and a half weeks ago and then my missus got Covid too. I started coughing not long after, and was assuming I had Covid too so kept my head down and didn't do much running. Dunno if it was just a cold or the vax just kept it mild enough for the LFT to not pick it up, but am fine now.
The end result is I have done no parkruns at all, so nowhere nearer beating 35 mins. I have lost 2.5 kgs, not sure how much of that is Covid/Cough and how much is good diet. So roughly half way to target
FWIW, was way worse than a bad cold for the youngest. The madness of just letting them all get infected rather than vaccinated meant most of the class has missed a couple of weeks and because of the timing of infections, the whole half term has been badly disrupted. Worse than lockdowns were for us, but we aren't poor and have computers. Usforus and their wanky mates in positions of power can do one anyway.

I'm still here but have not joined yet. I'd just finished a monster diet when this thread started, & I'm now on "maintenance".
Soon as I start putting the weight back on I'll join, though I've been stable now for two months & am hoping to stay that way.

I'm still here for the larks. Just like to see Hopkin do really well then have a massive f**k off curry and pile it all back on.
My current weight is 16st 1lb for what it's worth
Similar to Tikay I've found a balance point where it becomes no effort at all to just maintain.

ive dropped 18 kg's in last 15 months and currently at 123kg and doing dry January again this year so will post weekly weight targets in here. Aim is to drop another 18kg in 2022 and be 105kg by start of 2023. My advanced weigh in at the gym also includes body fat %, body fat mass in total and muscle mass so i will post them as well as im not just looking to lose weight but fat mainly. 16kg of the 18kg i have lost has been fat whilst pretty much maintaining lean muscle mass levels.
Jan 1 - 123kg (19 stone 5lbs) body fat % 32.5% fat mass 39.8kg muscle mass 78.7 kg bmi 36.6
Jan 13 - 124.4kg body fat% 32.0% fat mass 39.8kg muscle mass 80.5kg bmi 37.1
Weigh in today wasn't first thing in morning as usual. Had breakfast and water prior to weigh in so was expecting overall weight to be higher. fat mass hasn't changed. Will be back to normal first thing monday am weigh in next week.
Jan 26 122.4kg body fat % 32.6% fat mass 39.9kg muscle mass 78.5kg bmi 36.5
Weird set of stats. Wll take the 2kg loss but hate its all muscle. Not sure why as i am as strong as ever.
2 feb 124.8kg body fat % 32.4% fat mass 40.4kg muscle mass 80.3kg bmi 37,3
Weird month gained nearly 2kg but most of it is muscle mass and body fat % is identical to the start of the month.

Pretty much all of that is water, not muscle. You didn't lose 2kg of muscle in between the 13th and 26th and you didn't put it back on a week later.
That 80.3kg figure is lean mass which includes bones, connective tissue, skin, your pants and of course water.
Don't think it's physically possible to gain 2kg of muscle in a month even with PEDs. Maybe an untrained 17 year old hitting the gym very hard whilst going through puberty could do it for a month or two but that's about it.
Whatever it is though as long as it's lean mass it's not a worry. Just need to see that fat mass figure slowly creep downwards and you're all good.

Slight regression this week but only a single lb.
Starting weight this year 11st 9lbs, then 11st 7lbs, followed by 11st 6lbs.
This morning 11st 7lbs.

4 feb 2022
Same as last week 13:5:6.
Really happy with this was expecting to be a positive number this week.
The football on Wednesday night and ensuing celebrations didn’t help!
Goal by end of feb is 13 stone or lower.
For the next couple of weeks going to increase exercise slightly / have a couple of days in the week with fewer calories.

Another week and another new low for this year of 13 10
Good week but then not the greatest weekend as it was Sophie's birthday
Got additional nights out on the 12th and 19th too so getting to 13 7 in the next 3 weeks will be a challenge
Red line on the graph isn't looking promising!
