Half an inch off 6 foot.   Am kind of happy with 14 stone and fit, as it feels sustainable.

I wouldn't mind being 14st and 6ft.

Oh and if I could be 35 too that would be nice.

I can't do anything for height, maybe you could hang round with my daughter, she has a bad dose of "height" right now, and it might be contagious? I could do with some meds to sort her out.  It was amusing when she went past my wife, but not so amusing now she is catching me up.   I am hoping my youngest keeps a more respectful distance away from me in the future!

Ha, was heavier than I expected.  Weighed in at 95kg, 15 stone.   I am pretty sure I was a lot lighter than this when running more regularly 3 months ago.  I had got down from 38 inch waste to 34, but no idea how much I weighed then, but 36 is still fine.

Going to aim to run more regularly amd get down to 14 stone over the next couple of months, and aim to do a 35 minute 5k. I got down to 36 before, but couldn't even beat 40 first run back.   I think this was just lack of fitness as I just blew up in the last 2k, and was doing near 7 minute splits at the start, and basically had to walk the last 2km.

It’s amazing how quickly you  get into the swing of things. It will be no time at all till you are back to your previous times and levels of fitness.

Great to see you on board and with all that running you will soon be at your target weight.

We've got those exact same ones, they've been good as gold.

I also have these; they must have sold millions!

Moving weigh in to Mondays

Date     Weight   Weekly loss   Cum Loss
28/12/21   132.1
04/01/22   130              2.1                   2.1
10/01/22   129.2      0.8                   2.9

I didn't go over 2k calories ever this week

I caved on no deliveries- ordered twice (hard to cook when grinding) but one was a naked burrito 700cal. Found myself leaving out the sour cream. And discovered the bag of tortilla and guac I normally ordered (from Tortilla) was like another 700cal. Pretty mad. Other one was also around 800cal.

Ate out once with people at a Turkish. Impossible to tell the calories but had grilled fish with rice and veg.

Ate pure sugar only twice - one ice cream I had left in the freezer; 250cal and half a baclava and teaspoon of icecream at the restaurant - probably 200-250cal. This is honestly massive for me where I was easily waxing off 1k cal a day in pure shite; probably where loads of my gain in past 3 years has been from.

Have found 2k cal more food this week. Think I will go down to 1800 daily target soon (my BMR/TDEE is allegedly around 2350). Still have plenty of periods of hunger.

Have discovered tinned soups are pretty good for 130-210cal a tin. Decent and easy.

I just polished off;
small baked potato - 150cal
5 grilled chicken chipolatas - 190cal
Bisto gravy - 60cal
Brocolli, Cauliflower, Beans - Didn't weigh guessing around 100cal

Pretty decent dinner for 500ish cal though if I make it again I would have more potato as still a bit peckish

This week I'm on location filming during the days so having food not from home. Went for health and happiness from Itsu 544cal plus miso 36 cal. Breakfast was 3 eggs plain. I also had a 83 calorie bar from "fiber one" which has some sugar in. And an apple. So today I'm at around 1500cal.

Well, I suppose that’s one way to lose weight - find an exercise you enjoy doing and all that.

Sounds like its going well Dakky. Well done.

I swear by soup when trying to lose weight.

Try the tubs of fresh soup in the chilled area.
Less sugar and preservatives and quite a few are chunkier so a bit more filling.

About the same kcals as you quote for half a tub, so not a disaster if you're hungry and eat the whole thing.

ive dropped 18 kg's in last 15 months and currently at 123kg and doing dry January again this year so will post weekly weight targets in here.   Aim is to drop another 18kg in 2022 and be 105kg by start of 2023.  My advanced weigh in at the gym also includes body fat %, body fat mass in total and muscle mass so i will post them as well as im not just looking to lose weight but fat mainly.   16kg of the 18kg i have lost has been fat whilst pretty much maintaining lean muscle mass levels.

Jan 1 - 123kg (19 stone 5lbs)  body fat % 32.5% fat mass 39.8kg muscle mass 78.7 kg bmi 36.6
Jan 13 - 124.4kg body fat% 32.0% fat mass 39.8kg muscle mass 80.5kg bmi 37.1

Weigh in today wasn't first thing in morning as usual.   Had breakfast and water prior to weigh in so was expecting overall weight to be higher.  fat mass hasn't changed.   Will be back to normal first thing monday am weigh in next week.

I'll do everyone else's share of eating for the first few months of 2022, and then I'll be back in the gym next month Grin

Another good week here, I have had to try extra hard as been at home all week due to us all having the rona. Normally that would be an excuse to drink and snack all day long.

I don't expect to carry on at this rate as when we are all back to normal and allowed out there will be family meals out etc

The illness in the house also meant no curry night with Matthew this week or last week, recommencing next week and I am pretty sure there are a few more cals in 5 pints and a curry, than a small home cooked meal!

Be nice to get a head start on the Feb target though....

Start weight 14st 5lb
14th Jan 13st 13lb
Loss/Gain -6lb

31st Jan Target 13st 13lb
30th April Target 12st 7lb

Great stuff Stuart smashing the January goal.

 Friday 14 Jan - 13:8:2

Good week overall, did a whole lot of exercise, averaged about 10.5k steps.

Food was mostly good with a sprinkling of not so good. Not so good = some chocolate orange + a take away lunch whilst pressed for time mid week. The temptation was a bit to much for a chicken burger and chips😁
