€10000 Main Event

8h6h in SB. UTG raises, we go five way, including BB

K88r, lead 3k into 5.5k. Button calls

K885ss. Bet 5.5k into 11.5k. button calls

K8854r. Bet 6.5k into 22.5k

I mean, I'm never bluffing and never have a King. So, was tough to know whether I should block smaller, or indeed check, but call-muck came pretty quickly

Structure is of course great, but never quote as great as people think. 2 bustees in the room already.

€10000 Main event

Strange turn of events. 14 of the last 20 pots 3bet or squeezed. Only one shown down, which was KK. Could be a rush of cards, but appears table not as nitty as it first appeared. 174k

Second break - 167k. Young German guy from the PN update hand can't be good, given the speed he paid off 3 streets on K8845Stewey: Couple of German nits confirmed
One seemingly German nit has Tried to bust himself
One local paid me off on the ATT337, and later had a go at the dealer for giving him bad cards. Dealer held back from telling him "it's the way you play them"
One non-german/local Seems good, but bizarrely has sat out for the last 35 minutes
So, all in all, a good table

Nice one. Cutoff (who had seemed decent) opens to 1.3k at BB500, gifty guy calls button. Incorrectly thought the new CO sizing may indicate strength given the button  player, therefore just called 99 from BB

two hearts CO bets 40% pot, but fold, i call

two hearts . Check check

two hearts

Check, he bets 5k into 6k

Seemed a poor bluff line, repping very little. Therefore, veered towards believing it. But, had to call with limited info. And it was Indeed what it seemed. 182k

€10000 Main event

181k. Poor dynamic developing where i think two to my left is really good, and German one to my left is handing him Squeeze opportunities on a plate. But, good table

184k. This table , and the Vegas day one, is proof that any strategy of "buying in Day two for 60bb is a great Idea" is , nonsense

€10000 Main event

Absolute puke, vs the one very good player.

Squeeze on the button, he cold calls big.

, check Check.

. He bets 6k into 13k. Call A

 . He bets 36k into 25k.

Versus anyone else, it's an easy fold of the nut flush. Versus him, it's different. He's very capable. If I'm losing, I'm very unlcuky with my blockers. Because they leave only one combo of AQ suited, and one combo of QQ. Fairly sure he doesn't cold call AQoff. He can only really have JTdd, and I'm not convinced he does. He has 3 combos of 99, and I'm not actually fully sure he a) cold calls them, and b) value bets them for more than pot. However, it's not easy - what are his bluffs? It would mainly have to be JJ, TT and 88 turned into a bluff. 15 combos .He's capable, but doesn't mean he's going to. It's actually of some significance that cap guy (who raise folded pre) is staring very intently through my 6 minute tank. I'm not going to factor that too strongly, but I think it gives him more likely a key card (most likely an ace). I think it's a call. Queen blocker is big. Think I fold KK (there would then be 3x more combos of QQ, and 2x more combos of AQs), but I think the blocker against a very capable player obliges me. I call. He has the one combo of AQ suited.

.

Sigh. I'm not sure. Maybe it's terrible (if I'm wrong to think that he would be so eager to take advantage of my cappedness, as to bluff with 88, TT and JJ). But, I think we have probably got very circumstantially (blocker) unlucky there

Nice mid one. AK off, raise UTG1 8 handed. Guy we'll call 'only very good player ' 3bets. 200bb deep, fairly ugly. If it's a 4b , it's a 4b-fold. Definitely going to be a factor, that I have to accept, that he may come after me more, with the energy of "you called incorrectly vs me in a big one, you'll have to fold now."

Feels right to call, and try to catch a triplebarrel

Check, he bets 4k into 11k. Just about call

 Q84Q. Check Check

Q84Q9hhh.

I bluff 12k into 18k. He may have same hand. All depends on whether he'll make the logical fold of JJ, or whether he'll feel there is a dynamic. Good to have AA and KK blocked (even though they should in theory make for a worse call than JJ, think anyone is more likely to call them

Get the semi- tank fold. 131k

€10000 Main event

Lovely one. Up to 152k

Peel from SB Vs gifty guy, and get check raise and three streets on

And, with some extra sweetness - he tried to angle me by pump-fake calling the river. I didn't fall for it. I have experience of being angled, because I have played the Partouche Poker tour.
