I see Jen's Mum is watching, that's good news, as Jen was gonna send her a Text to say she was having a grand day.

Jen's Mum is quite lovely, as many of you who met her at blonde Bash will testify, and she's not quite as cranky as Jen.

I rung Jen's Mum one day last week & she said "Linda speaking", & she insisted I call her Linda, rather than Jen's Mum, but she's Mum as far as I am concerned. Anyway, Mum/Linda/Lynda/Nice Lady, your Daughter is in great, great, spirits.

The malaise that afflicted snippy yesterday, & Ben this morning, has claimed another victim, & poor Flushy has taken to his bed , not feeling at all well. Thanks to both of them from all of blonde for their help. They have been willing & enthusiastic Updaters, even if they struggle to play the game.

Some Simon Zach news...

I had just been to fetch him a glass of water and returned to see him facing a decision for all his chips. There was quite a lot in the pot but Simon had another 15k or so left. His opponent had moved all in on the river with the board of



After quite some time Simon passed and his opponent showed his Ah two hearts. I gave him his water and exited swiftly after a conciliatory shrug of the shoulders.
