i think its more likely he has A Q or A K with big diamond.......if he has Q Q why go all in , surely he would give you another card....i would be calling all day every day....BUT  i am a fish at cash !

I would have called, he might have Q J but its not likely, Call for me, especially in a cash game.

Intresting play....why are we not re-raising pre flop, and why are we folding on the flop?

I agree with James here

Re Raise preflop

Also call - if he has QQ JJ QJ or flush draw and hits then goodluck to him

Stick yer £40 quid in and take a look.

Don't shoite it every time someone mini-re-raises you pre flop, especially in a SB/BB pissing contest.

The overbet screams flush draw or AQ to me, so I call.

Well, i got chatting to the bloke (he's actually lives near me), and i talked him into sending me through his hand history and he did indeed have QQ.

I do re-raise preflop to which he re-raises again. As i had been sat playing with this guy for a while (2 hours) and this was the the first time id seen him re-re-raise preflop. Infact id seen him min-raise preflop with AA  previously, so i thought either AA or QQ (KK but highly unlikely). When i see the flop, im behind to both of these hence i folded. I know its only £40 quid or whatever but theres been a few times lately where iv been thinking i should fold in this sort of situation but cant bring myself to do it.  I just didnt think this bloke would make this play if he was on the flush draw, and i dont think he'd have re-raised my re-raise with AQ. If im honest i quite like his play because most people if they had AA, KK, JJ and mebbe AQ would prolly call here.

Im not trying to toot my own trumpet or anything here, just wanted to gauge some opinions, if im honest 90% of the time id agree with most the crowd and call here. I guess it boils down to what id previously seen from the bloke. Good job i hadnt just sat down Smiley

Well, with the extra information you had.....

.....that you chose not to share with us originally , it looks like not a bad fold.

re raise pre flop... make it a decent sized raise.

if he has AA you have no option but to pay him off and reload IMO
