I think bible bashing might well be crossing the line.

Except on a Sunday.

gotta say, Im suprised by this. there's nothing worse than losing a big hand then getting moved and having to rebuild on a new table. you aften end up posting more than your share of big blinds. you often also develop a 'seat of death' where one short stack after another get shipped in and picked off. I'm quite aware people have to get knocked out for the tourney to end but I'm suprised people would rather it be the short stack as opposed to the BB which is randon and by definition, more fair. oh well, you live and learn.

I have a new idea. The ugliest person on the table has to move. Me and Poppett are safe forever lolololol

Sounds perfect! The solution has been there all along.

A new suggestion which i hear they may be testdriving in the wpt events next year is simply to tell the short stack that there is a toilet break.

Often shortstacks have weak bladders so they will rush off to the loo. In the meantime have a quick race for his/her chips and resume teh tournament. When they return, explain they just didn't make it back in time and were blinded out, bad luck.

They will accept that this is the standard way to leave a tournament and voila, problem solved.

Maybe we have stumbled upon a new variation of poker?

At the end of every level, the shortstack at each table is moved up out of their seat, and out of the competition.

Could be a goer?

Move the person who has the funniest sounding surname.

Failing that, move the short stack.
